The end cap assembly includes a cap end plate that covers an open end of a pipe segment, a cap sleeve to be disposed around the pipe segment, and a cap fastener mechanism that runs along an inner surface of the cap sleeve and that expands inward such that the cap fastener mechanism engages an outer surface of the pipe segment. The plug fastener mechanism is to be disposed within a pipe bore of the pipe segment and expands outward such that the plug fastener mechanism engages an inner surface of the pipe segment.

Reusable pipe integrity test head systems and methods

Techniques for implementing and/or operating a system that includes a pipe fitting and a swage machine. The swage machine includes a grab plate having a grab tab that matingly interlocks with a grab notch on the pipe fitting to facilitate securing the swage machine to the pipe fitting and a die plate having a die seat that enables a set of die segments to be used to conformally deform the pipe fitting around the tubing of the pipe segment to be loaded in the swage machine. The die plate and the grab plate include a base plate section, a hinge plate secured to the base plate section via a hinge fastener such that the hinge plate directly abuts the base plate section, and a pivotable plate section secured to the hinge plate via a hinge fastener such that the hinge plate directly abuts the pivotable plate section.

The first pipeline component includes a male fitting connector that defines a first connector bore and an outer surface of a leading end of the male fitting connector includes a retainer tab or base threading. The female fitting connector includes a base portion that defines a second connector bore and a retainer ring that interlocks with the retainer tab or the base threading on the leading end of the male fitting connector to facilitate securing the male fitting connector to the female fitting connector without using a discrete threaded fastener or hot tooling.

Quick connect pipe fitting systems and methods

Techniques for implementing and/or operating a pipeline system that includes a pipe segment and a reusable pipe fitting. The pipe segment includes tubing that defines a pipe bore and a fluid conduit within a tubing annulus of the pipe segment. The reusable pipe fitting includes a fitting body that defines a body bore and a pipe engaging assembly including a collapsible collar with teeth that extend radially inward. The collapsible collar contracts radially inward such that the collapsible collar engages the tubing of the pipe segment to facilitate securing the reusable pipe fitting to the pipe segment when the pipe engaging assembly is secured to the fitting body and expands radially outward such that the collapsible collar disengages from the tubing of the pipe segment to enable the reusable pipe fitting to be re-deployed at another pipe segment when the pipe engaging assembly is unsecured from the fitting body.

Reusable pipe fitting systems and methods

A method of repairing a flexible pipe within a carrier pipe. The method then increases a first area of a first hole in the carrier pipe. The method then bends a first layer of the flexible pipe around a second hole in the first layer. The method then patches a third hole in a second layer of the flexible pipe.
