Electric robot

An electric robot having a base unit which is rotatable about a vertical first axis is provided with a horizontal second axis to which is pivotally mounted a vertical arm. At the other end of the vertical arm, a horizontal arm is mounted which has at the end thereof a wrist for carrying a tool such as a spray gun. Motors for operation of the wrist are placed coaxially with the second axis and are placed inside the shafts for the horizontal and vertical arms. The counterbalancing mechanisms have an axis of motion which is parallel to the second axis, pulleys being used to change the direction of the tensioning cables from tangential to the second axis to parallel to the second axis.

Electric robotic work unit

An apparatus for varying the sensitivity of a tractor draft sensing and control system of the type including a draft sensing mechanism having an output link shiftable along its length in response to changes in draft and a draft control linkage having an input arm mounted for swinging movement about a pivot. The input arm is provided with a generally radially extending slot, and the output link is provided with structure slideably received within the slot. A control member, which is adjusted by a screw rod, selectively positions the structure within the slot to vary the moment arm of the input arm which, in turn, varies the sensitivity of the system.

Sensitivity adjusting apparatus for tractor draft sensing and control

An anti-tangle, feed correcting improvement for line handling in a filament trimmer circular cutting head of manual-feed, commercially available type having a slotted-rim-cup-shape and holding the spool or spools of filament with cutting length of filament emerging from the slot, includes an elongate retainer fixed integrally in the cutting head across the slot at an intermediate location providing room for filament cutting-end swing above the pin and room above and below and behind the elongate retainer for manipulation to feed a fresh length of filament when necessary; in an embodiment provision is made for manually slipping the filament past an end of the elongate retainer to facilitate feeding more filament.

Filament trimmer cutting head improvement

A filter assembly utilizing a plurality of stackable filter head units which permit parallel flow through filter elements mounted within filter bowls, there being one filter element and filter bowl mounted on each of the stackable filter head units. An improved filter head construction is employed which permits a plurality of substantially identical filter head units to be mounted adjacent each other to provide the desired flow capacity, each of the filter head units being so designed that it can be readily manufactured.

Stackable filter head unit

An improved hitch link assembly for connecting an implement to a tractor. Each of the draft links of a tractor having a three point hitch includes forward and rear link constructions which are interconnected together in such a manner that the rear link construction can reciprocate with respect to the forward link construction between a rearward position and a forward position and can also swing from a generally horizontal position to an angled position with respect to the forward link construction. The rear link construction is in its normal working position when it is in its rearward position and in its generally horizontal position. In addition, novel engaging means are provided to firmly hold the rear link construction in its normal working position.
