Provided is a heat management system of a vehicle including: a cooling circuit including a radiator, a first valve, a first pump, and at least one electric part which are connected through a cooling water line; a battery cooling circuit including a second pump and a battery module which are connected through a battery cooling water line; a chiller installed in the battery cooling water line between the second pump and the battery module, and connected to a refrigerant line of an air-conditioning device through a refrigerant connection line; a first cooling water connection line; and a second cooling water connection.

A battery module includes: a cell cover close to a battery cell and having one surface emitting heat of the battery cell; and a cooling channel portion having a cooling channel that a refrigerant flows formed therein and having one surface of the cooling channel close to the one surface of the cell cover to absorb heat of the battery cell. In a contact region of the cell cover and the cooling channel portion, the cell cover has a protrusion portion protruded in the direction of the cooling channel, and the cooling channel has a penetration hole for inserting the protrusion portion into an inner portion that the refrigerant flows.

Battery module

A battery cooling device for a vehicle is provided. The device repeats phase changes of a refrigerant to cool a battery due to heat of vaporization when a liquid-state refrigerant is vaporized by thermally coming in contact with a battery heat source. The vaporized refrigerant is changed back into a liquid state by thermally coming in contact with a separate coolant. The effect of cooling all battery cells is maximized throughout the entire refrigerant channel for cooling a battery and the battery cells are cooled uniformly.

A cooling device, which cools a battery by effectively dissipating heat generated from the battery, which is used, for example, in eco-friendly vehicles, is provided to increase the rate of battery charging and the reliability of the battery. The cooling device includes a pair of coolant pipes that introduce and discharge a coolant and a cooling channel that connects the coolant pipes to each other to move the coolant from a first coolant pipe to a second coolant pipe. Additionally, a heat transfer plate is coupled to the cooling channel and has a contact surface configured to be in surface contact with a heat-emitting element.

A battery temperature raising system and a control method thereof are provided. The battery temperature raising system includes a power supply that operates a heater attached to a battery module. The heater is configured to increase a battery temperature and a variable resistor mounted on a circuit between the heater and the power supply adjusts a heating value of the heater based on an adjustment state of a resistance value. A heater relay is mounted on the circuit between the heater and the power supply and opens and closes the circuit to selectively turn on/off the heater. A first sensor senses the battery temperature and a second sensor senses a heater temperature. A controller outputs a control signal to operate the heater relay to selectively turn on/off the heater based on temperature information sensed by the sensors and a control signal to adjust the resistance value of the variable resistor.

Battery temperature raising system and control method thereof

An apparatus for preventing battery overcharge is provided and includes a plurality of holders interposed between cells stacked within a battery to enclose the cells in a stacking direction. An installation space is formed between outer parts of at least two holders that enclose the cells. In addition, a fluid pouch is disposed within the installation space and adjacent to the cells inside the installation space, and contains a fluid therein. A cutting part is disposed within the installation space and has a first end disposed adjacent to the fluid pouch, and has a cutter edge heading between a lead tab and a bus bar at a second end of the cutting part.

Disclosed herein is a relay module for a vehicle battery system. The relay module includes a movable unit configured to be moved by a magnetic field generated by a coil and a return spring within a relay. This movable unit controls a state of an electrical connection between relay electrodes. A microsensor installed between the movable unit and a fixed unit maintains a fixed location relative to the movable unit and is configured to induce a variation in an electrical physical quantity depending on a variation in a location of the movable unit relative to the fixed unit.

A high voltage safety device for a high voltage battery is provided, which comprises: a switch terminal forming a switch of an electric circuit for a high voltage portion and protruding to be fitted in a position hole of a high voltage cover; and a plug forming the electric circuit by connecting the switch when being fitted on the switch terminal and having a size occupying a portion of the high voltage cover.
