A vehicle seat including a base, an unlocking device, a release lever, a seat cushion, and a lifter. The unlocking device configured to selectively lock a translatable rail to a fixed rail, the release lever coupled to the base and configured to rotate about a first axis to actuate the unlocking device. The seat cushion coupled to the base and configured to pivot about a second axis between a use position and a non-use position. The lifter configured to rotate about a third axis between a first position, in which the seat cushion is in the non-use position, wherein as the lifter moves from the first position to the second position, the lifter bracket pivots the seat cushion between the use position and the non-use position and engages the release lever to actuate the unlocking device to unlock the translatable rail from the fixed rail.

Vehicle seat assembly

A seat assembly including a base, a seat cushion, a backrest, a cam follower, and a cam. The seat cushion pivotally coupled to the base and the backrest pivotally coupled to the seat cushion. The cam follower coupled to the seat cushion and the cam rotationally coupled to the base and configured to engage the cam follower. The cam configured to engage the cam follower and configured to rotate between a first position, in which the seat cushion is in a use position, and a second position, in which the seat cushion is in a non-use position. As the cam rotates between the first position and the second position, a front portion of the seat cushion may tilt towards the base and a rear portion of the seat cushion may be tilted away from the base.

A pull-strap assembly for actuating a recline mechanism of a vehicle seat includes a clevis having first and second pieces configured to snap into one another, wherein the pieces cooperate to define a cylindrical body and a cable connector. The assembly further includes a fixed anchor and a tension member having a fixed end connected to the anchor, an intermediate portion looped around the cylindrical body, and a free end. The clevis is configured to move towards the anchor responsive to the free end being pulled by a user to release the recline mechanism.

A vehicle seat includes a back frame having opposing side members and side brackets pivotally connected to the opposing side members about a pivot axis such that the back frame is pivotal between a reclined position and a folded position. A vehicle seat including a fixed rail assembly, a translatable rail, and a translatable bracket. The fixed rail assembly includes a fixed rail and a fixed bracket extending from the fixed rail assembly. The translatable rail is configured to translate in a longitudinal direction along the fixed rail. The translatable bracket is fixed relative to the translatable rail such that the translatable rail and the translatable bracket translate in unison. The translatable bracket is configured to retain portions of the translatable rail within portions of the fixed rail. The translatable bracket includes a translating stop. The translatable rail is configured to translate between a first position in which the translating stop engages a fixed stop and a second position in which the translating stop is spaced apart from the translating stop.
