Disclosed is a brake control apparatus including a master cylinder that generates a hydraulic braking pressure in response to operation of a brake pedal, an electric motor that drives the master cylinder, a housing in which the master cylinder and the electric motor are assembled, and a control unit adapted to perform drive control of the electric motor. The control unit has a bottom formed at least partially integral with the housing and includes a circuit board mounting thereon drive elements to drive the electric motor. The brake control apparatus includes a heat radiating seat located on an inner surface of the bottom of the control unit at a position apart from the electric motor and closer to the master cylinder than the electric motor and brought into thermal contact with the circuit board so as to radiate heat of the drive elements toward the housing.

Brake control apparatus

A brake control apparatus includes a master cylinder configured to generate a brake pressure according to a depressing force of a brake pedal; an electric motor configured to operate the master cylinder; a control board configured to control the electric motor; and a board receiving portion arranged along an outer circumference of the master cylinder. The board receiving portion receives the control board such that a component-mounting surface of the control board faces in an axial direction of the master cylinder.

A supporting structure comprises a base member to support a printed circuit board, a holder standing upright from the base member and supporting the printed circuit board; and a support standing upright from the base member and supporting the printed circuit board sidewise. The support includes a column standing upright from the base member, and having a modulus of elasticity greater than that of the holder, and an abutment portion to abut on a side surface of the printed circuit board.

Electronic control apparatus

Provided is a brake controller which can be made smaller. The brake controller () has a hydraulic control mechanism (), which comprises a master cylinder () which generates a hydraulic fluid pressure on the basis of an input piston () and a control piston () that move when a braking operation is performed, motors (), and a moving mechanism () which moves the aforementioned control piston as the aforementioned motors turn, and a motor control unit () for regulating the turning of the aforementioned motors. The brake controller is characterized in that the aforementioned motor control unit () has a metal case () with a built-in control circuit, the aforementioned metal case () is affixed to the housing () of the aforementioned moving mechanism (), one end of the aforementioned case () is placed at approximately the same position as an end of the aforementioned moving mechanism () in the axial direction of the aforementioned input piston (), and the other end of the aforementioned case () is placed at approximately the same position as an end of the aforementioned master cylinder ().

Brake controller

An electronic control device comprises a circuit board having a heat generating part mounted thereon; a case for installing therein the circuit board, the case having a heat receiving portion that is in contact with the heat generating part; at least two first fixing units that are constructed and arranged to fix a peripheral portion of the circuit board to the case; and at least one second fixing unit that is arranged to fix a given area of the circuit board to the case while pressing the given area against the heat receiving portion through the heat generating part, the given area being an area where the heat generating part is placed.

Electronic control device

The invention achieves a further downsizing of an actuator control unit. The actuator control unit has a control circuit controlling an actuator, and a bus bar electrically connected to the control circuit and arranged such as to be partially embedded in an inner portion of a resin case and be partially exposed to an outer portion of the resin case. It is preferable to have a projection portion extending in a wiring direction of the bus bar between two bus bars wired adjacently, having a greater height than an embedded plane of the bus bar in the resin case, and made of an insulating material.

Actuator control unit and electric-mechanical brake unit

An actuator control device includes a circuit device that is resin-molded by a plurality of metal molds including at least one movable metal mold to include a first bus bar and a second bus bar. The first bus bar and the second bus bar each include a flat plate-like portion that includes two main flat-face portions having large surface areas, and two sub flat-face portions that are adjacent to the main flat-face portions and have smaller surface areas than the surface areas of the main flat-face portions. One of the main flat-face portions of the first bus bar faces one of the main flat-face portions of the second bus bar. The facing direction differs from the mold release direction of the movable metal mold.

Actuator control device, and method of manufacturing circuit device in actuator control device

First and second terminals project from a circuit board and lie adjacent to each other with an interspace formed between the first and second terminals. An electronic apparatus further includes a projecting member projecting along a neighboring terminal which is one of the first and second terminals at such a position that the neighboring terminal is located between the projecting member and the interspace. The projecting member is located at an adjacent position adjacent to the neighboring terminal, to attract molten solder from the interspace toward the projecting member during soldering to join the first and second terminals to the circuit board.

Electronic apparatus

An electronic controller for a vehicle includes a box-shaped frame having only one opened side that has a notch portion into which an electric connector whose connection port protrudes toward an outside fits and a cover that closes an opening of the frame, in which while a groove filled with a sealant is provided at least on a bonded surface of an electric connector to which the cover is bonded, a first convex portion that fits into the groove is provided in a circumferential portion of the cover. Moreover, the electric connector has a flange portion opposite to an inner wall of the frame around the notch portion, and the flange portion is provided with a second convex portion protruding toward the inner wall to surround the notch portion.

Electronic controller for vehicle

An electronic control device for controlling an electric actuator, including an air passage within a casing that is fixable to an actuator housing of the electric actuator. A circuit board is accommodated in the casing. A projecting portion is formed in the casing, on which a region of the circuit board in which the heat generating part is installed is seated. A vent hole extends through the casing to communicate to an outside of the casing. A communication hole extends through the casing to communicate to an inside of the actuator housing. The air passage allows air to flow between the vent hole and the communication hole when the electric actuator is driven in a state that the casing is fixed to the actuator housing.

An electric booster in which a rotation of an electric motor is converted into linear motion and transmitted to an output member by a rotation-linear motion mechanism. The output member pushes a piston of a master cylinder to generate brake fluid pressure in a pressure chamber in the master cylinder. An ECU casing containing boards is coupled to the top of a motor casing constituting the electric motor. The ECU casing is offset in one direction in a plane perpendicular to a plane containing an axis of the master cylinder. A male connector is provided at a side surface of the ECU casing on the opposite side from the offset direction side, and a space between the male connector and an interference area of the ECU casing is utilized as a space for attachment/detachment of the male connector.

Electric booster

The present invention relates to an electric booster in which a rotation of an electric motor is converted into a linear motion and transmitted to an output member by a rotation-linear motion mechanism, and the output member pushes a piston of a master cylinder to generate a brake fluid pressure in a pressure chamber in the master cylinder. The present invention is characterized in that an ECU casing containing boards and the like such as a board for controlling the electric motor is coupled to the top of a motor casing constituting the electric motor. The ECU casing is offset in one direction in a plane perpendicular to a plane containing an axis of the master cylinder. A male connector is provided at a side surface of the ECU casing on the opposite side from the offset direction F side, and a space between the male connector and an interference area of the ECU casing with the other components and devices is utilized as a space for attachment/detachment of the male connector to/from the female connector.

An electro mechanical brake apparatus is provided, in which a counter-measure for the heat of the driving circuit is much improved when configured to be integrated with an electric circuit. An electric circuit portion is provided by sandwiching a motor with brake pads, and a power module is provided so that a heat dissipating surface is opposed to the inner surface of the metallic outer case of the electric circuit portion, and a control circuit board is disposed at the motor side for the power module.

Electro mechanical brake, control device

The invention provides a brake apparatus in which a vibration resistance and a heat resistance are improved, in a control apparatus of an integrally structured brake in which an electric circuit portion is attached to a brake force generating portion of the brake apparatus. In the control apparatus of the integrally structured brake in which the electric circuit portion is attached to the brake force generating portion of the brake apparatus, the structure is made such that an opening is provided in a circuit side case and a connected portion is arranged in a space within the opening, in order to secure an assured electric connection after attaching the circuit portion. A connecting work can be executed from the opening portion, a vibration resistance can be improved, and a heat resistance can be improved.
