An object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition for use in sunscreen that exhibits a sufficient effect with a reduced content of a UV protection agent, and to provide a cosmetic composition for use in sunscreen that has excellent texture, usability, and antioxidant action, while having a UV protection effect. In order to achieve this object, an emulsified cosmetic composition for use in sunscreen comprising (A) trans-resveratrol polysaccharide and (B) a UV protection agent is provided.

A biaxially drawn, blow-molded bottle and its preform comprise at least a layer of a gas barrier material laminated inside the PET resin layers, a functional portion having a screw thread raised spirally in the upper portion of neck and also having a stop ring disposed under the screw thread, and a neck ring disposed at the lower end of the neck. In these preform and bottle, the leading edge of the gas barrier layer is positioned at a half height of the neck ring where the most advanced front of the leading edge neither reaches a half height of the stop ring nor extends to the functional portion. It is intended here that the neck would not be affected by the shrinking deformation caused by the existence of the gas barrier layer in the functional portion of the neck, which is treated for thermal crystallization.

A method for producing bottle-type containers made of a synthetic resin, e.g., polyethylene-terephthalate resin, includes a heat treatment step for heating and crystallizing a neck portion of a perform corresponding to a neck portion of a container. In a first stage of the heat treatment step, the neck portion of the perform is temporarily heated to a temperature below a melting point of the synthetic resin, e.g., approximately 200&#xb0; C. to 230&#xb0; C. in the case of polyethylene terephthalate resin. In a subsequent second stage, the neck portion is maintained at a temperature within a range in which crystallization of the synthetic resin is promoted, e.g. approximately 170&#xb0; C. to 195&#xb0; C. in the case of polyethylene terephthalate resin.

Method for producing bottle-shaped container mainly made of polyethylene terephthalate resin

A multiplayer perform having at least a medium or intermediate gas barrier layer is prepared in advance by the injection molding of this perform in a predetermined shape that corresponds to the shape of a finished molded product. The body portion of this perform is heated to a blow moldable temperature. The heated perform is set in a primary blow mold (), and is blow molded in the biaxial orientation to give a primary molded intermediate (). The primary intermediate () is then heated to deform it forcibly by thermal shrinkage and thereby to give the secondary molded intermediate (). The shrunken secondary intermediate () is set in a secondary blow mold (), and is subjected to the secondary blow molding in the biaxial orientation to obtain a finished molded product, which is fixed thermally to give heat history to the PET resin. As a result, the PET resin layers are given a high degree of crystallization, which serves to complement the function of the gas barrier layer or layers in such a way that the container has high and effective gas barrier properties.

The double blow molding process comprises a primary blow molding step of biaxially drawing and blow molding the preform into a primary intermediate product, a step of heating the primary intermediate product to shrink-mold it into the secondary intermediate product, and a secondary blow molding step of molding the secondary intermediate product into a bottle. This double blow molding process is characterized in that, just before the secondary blow molding step, the secondary intermediate product on standby is maintained at a temperature at least 40&#xb0; C. or 50&#xb0; C. higher than the mold temperature used in said secondary blow molding step. From such a temperature, it is possible to determine the double blow molding conditions, which can correspond to the levels of heat resistance required for the bottles, and to provide, with high productivity, the bottles having necessary levels of heat resistance.

While blowing out cooling air to a preform which is biaxially stretched and blow molded into a bottle shape, heat sources are made operative by a high power and the first heating process as quick heating is performed to the preform. Subsequently, the heated preform is left as it is and a temperature adjusting process to reduce a temperature difference between an outer surface temperature and an inner surface temperature of the preform to a predetermined value or less is executed. The second heating process to heat the preform until the outer surface temperature is equal to a temperature which is slightly lower than a crystallization temperature of the PET is executed to the preform obtained after completion of the temperature adjusting process while blowing out the cooling air to the preform. Thus, the quick heating of the preform is safely accomplished without causing an overheating state.

The method comprises the steps of heating the body portion of a preform at 90.degree. to 130.degree. C., biaxial-orientation blow-molding the preform in a primary blowing mold heated at 110 to 230.degree. C. to form a primary intermediate molded bottle-shaped piece, heating the primary intermediate molded bottle-shaped piece at 130 to 255.degree. C. or at a temperature which is at least 20.degree. C. greater than the primary blowing mold temperature to form a secondary intermediate molded bottle-shaped piece, and blow-molding the secondary intermediate molded bottle-shaped piece in a secondary blowing mold heated at 100.degree. to 150.degree. C. to form a bottle-shaped container. The temperature of the secondary blowing mold is several degrees greater than the maximum temperature the molded bottle-shaped container will be subjected to during use. The bottle-shaped container of the present invention has no stress remaining from biaxial orientation blow-molding and has a high heat resistance temperature value.
