A numerical value controller for a machine tool includes a storage unit storing a machining program for drilling a hole in a workpiece in accordance with relative movement between a tool and workpiece in a depth direction, and a control unit controlling the relative movement between the tool and workpiece based on the machining program and that moves the tool relative to the workpiece in the depth direction from a return point to a hole bottom point. The return point is a position retracted in the depth direction from a workpiece surface where the tool starts to perform drilling. The machining program includes a command for a workpiece height point as a position of the workpiece surface. The control unit moves the tool relative to the workpiece in the depth direction at a relative rate higher than a cutting feed rate from the return point to the height point.

Numerical value controller

Provided are: a numerical control device with which it is possible to easily perform a cutting process; a control method; and a processing program. The numerical control device comprises: a processing program analysis unit that analyzes commands that a machine tool can perform simultaneously, from one line of the processing program for commanding the machine tool before and after the cutting process; and a simultaneous operation control unit that uses the analyzed commands that can be performed simultaneously, combines the operations that the machine tool can perform simultaneously, and controls the commanded simultaneous operations.

Numerical control device and control method

Provided are a numerical control device and a control method that enable simple true circular processing. The numerical control device is provided with: a true circular processing unit that, using an operative command, causes a cutting tool to perform true circular processing on a workpiece with a starting point set as a center; and a processing program calculation unit that, in order to give a command to a machining tool, calculates, as an operative command for the machining tool, a processing operation position from a single line processing program.

The purpose of the present invention is to improve the machined-surface quality of a curved surface of a workpiece without reducing the machining speed when the curved surface is subjected to removal machining. Provided is a workpiece machining method in which a rotating table on which a workpiece is placed and a tool are relatively moved along two linear movement axes orthogonal to each other, the workpiece is rotated about each of a first turning axis and a second turning axis orthogonal to each other by the rotating table, and at least one curved surface of a protruding curved surface and a recessed curved surface is subjected to removal machining. The method includes: disposing the first turning axis so as to be parallel to a first linear movement axis of the two linear movement axes, the motor load during linear movement in the first linear movement axis being relatively small; disposing the second turning axis on a plane perpendicular to the first linear movement axis; and subjecting the curved surface to removal machining along the direction of curvature while moving the workpiece along the first linear movement axis and rotating the workpiece about the second turning axis.

Workpiece machining method

A spindle vibration measuring system which measures vibration of a spindle in a machining device that performs a cutting or abrading process on a workpiece. The machining device has a workpiece holder that holds the workpiece, the spindle that holds a tool, and a moving mechanism that relatively moves the workpiece holder and the spindle. The spindle vibration measuring system acquires positional variation data or vibration data of the moving mechanism when the spindle rotates, and a result related to vibration of the spindle to output or store based on the positional variation data or the vibration data.

In the high-efficiency machining of blade parts according to the present invention, there is no reversal of the operating direction of a rotating shaft, and a high-quality machined surface can be obtained rapidly. A machining program is created for a workpiece such that: when a part having a convex curved surface and a concave curved surface, with a pair of edge portions as a boundary, is removal-machined, a virtual convex curve, the curvature of which is not inverted with respect to the convex curved surface, with the curves of the pair of edges as the tangent line, is set for the concave curved surface; a drive surface, for defining tool orientation without curvature inversion, is created by using the virtual convex curve, the convex curve set on the convex curved surface, and the convex curves set on the pair of edges; and a tool axis direction during removal machining is set on the basis of the normal direction of the drive surface for tool orientation definition.

A mirror finishing method for forming a mirror surface on a workpiece with a mirror finishing tool including a conically shaped cutting tool made of polycrystalline diamond or cubic boron nitride that is attached to a distal end of a shank, performs mirror polishing by abutting a conical surface of the cutting tool against a machined surface of the workpiece with the shank tilted with respect to the machined surface of the workpiece.

A machining environment measurement device, which enables automatic identification of a vibration source which may cause defects in a machined surface based on pieces of vibration data without performing an actual machining process, includes a reference machining data storage unit that stores reference machining data computed based on time-series data of vibration measured in advance in an ideal machining environment; a data acquisition unit that acquires time-series data of vibration of at least a holder attached to a spindle of the machine tool detected by a holder measurement sensor; an analysis unit that analyzes the time-series data and computes feature data indicating a feature of the time-series data; a comparative determination unit that compares the feature data with the reference machining data and determines a machining environment of the machine tool; and a display unit that displays the determination result of the comparative determination unit.

To provide a numerical controller that can detect the position at which the look-ahead blocks used to determine an acceleration/deceleration operation is insufficient in a machining program in order to stabilize feed rate, cutting speed and other factors. A numerical controller includes a program execution unit that executes a machining program, a program look-ahead unit that looks ahead at the machining program in parallel with execution of the machining program, a theoretical value calculation unit that calculates theoretical values per block in processing time for the machining program from the feed rate of the machine tool and lengths of minute straight lines that make up the machining path followed by the machine tool, a measured value calculation unit that calculates actually measured values per block in the look-ahead time taken by the program look-ahead unit and the processing time for the machining program while the machining program is being executed, and an abnormal block detection unit that detects an abnormal block that is a block at which the result of subtracting the total of the theoretical values from the total of the actually measured values is more than a prescribed value.

To provide a numerical controller that can detect a position in a machining program at which a speed control abnormality is likely to occur due to an insufficient look-ahead blocks that are used to determine an acceleration/deceleration operation, and supplement the look-ahead blocks at that position in order to stabilize feed rate, cutting speed and other factors. A numerical controller includes a required look-ahead blocks setting unit that sets a required look-ahead blocks, which is a look-ahead blocks required to execute a machining program, and an operation limitation unit that compares a look-ahead blocks calculated by a look-ahead blocks calculation unit to the required look-ahead blocks and, if the look-ahead blocks is less than the required look-ahead blocks, limits execution of the machining program until the look-ahead blocks reach the required look-ahead blocks.

Provided are a numerical controller, a numerical control method, and a numerical control program capable of suppressing reduction in machining surface quality while increasing machining efficiency. A numerical controller comprises: a program analysis unit that analyzes a machining program for controlling a machine tool and calculates a cumulative moving distance for each command block based on a designated coordinate; a control point generation unit that generates, based on the moving distance and a designated speed for each command block, a control point as a set of the moving distance and the speed at a start point and an end point in the command block; a commanded speed generation unit that generates a parametric curve defining a commanded speed for the moving distance based on the control points; and a commanded speed output unit that outputs the generated commanded speed per interpolation unit.
