An air conditioner which continues driving with a deteriorated gas leakage sensor is provided. An air conditioner of the present invention includes an outdoor unit including a compressor and an indoor unit connected with the outdoor unit and uses flammable refrigerant. The air conditioner includes: a refrigerant gas sensor; and a controlling unit configured to stop the compressor at occurrence of abnormality, when the refrigerant gas sensor detects refrigerant gas while the compressor is being driven. After the compressor is stopped as the refrigerant gas sensor detects the refrigerant gas, the controlling unit does not start driving of the compressor until an operation to cancel the abnormality is performed.

Air conditioner

A refrigerating device includes a compressor, a temperature detector and a protection control section. The compressor compresses a refrigerant. The temperature detector detects a temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor on an outside of the compressor. The protection control section judges that a transition following a starting of the compressor is in effect and that a steady state following an end of the transition in which a state of the refrigerant is stable is in effect, performs protection control on the compressor when a detected temperature detected by the temperature detector exceeds a first determination temperature during the transition, and performs the protection control on the compressor when the detected temperature exceeds a second determination temperature during the steady state.

Refrigerating device

A refrigerating device includes a refrigerant circuit, a temperature detecting unit, a protection control section, and a determination temperature modifying section. The refrigerant circuit includes a compressor to compress a refrigerant. The temperature detecting section detects a temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor on an outside of the compressor. The protection control section performs protection control of the compressor in a case where a detection temperature detected by the temperature detecting section exceeds a determination temperature. The determination temperature modifying section modifies the determination temperature according to at least one of information on an outside air temperature and information on a type of the refrigerant.
