A behavior control method for controlling a behavior of a vehicle comprising: specifying a blind-spot region as blind-spot of an environment recognition portion along a travel route for the vehicle; determining a jump-out possibility of a moving object to the travel route from the blind-spot region; performing a possibility reduction behavior to lower the jump-out possibility, in response to that the jump-out possibility is confirmed; and performing a travel behavior compliant with the travel route after starting the possibility reduction behavior.

Behavior control method and behavior control apparatus

An information processing apparatus installed in a vehicle includes a driving control section and a preparation control section. The driving control section executes automated driving of the vehicle. The preparation control section executes, when the automated driving is being executed by the driving control section, preparation control which is control that stops at least a part of the automated driving and makes the driver perform a preparation switching to driving by the driver of the vehicle.

Information processing apparatus

A driving mode switching device includes a determination section, a notification section, a detection section, and a control section. The determination section is configured to determine whether a state has occurred in which automatic driving needs to be terminated. The notification section is configured to notify a driver of the instruction for performing a switching operation as a predetermined operation of a vehicle in the case of determining, by the determination section, that the state has occurred in which the automatic driving needs to be terminated. The detection section is configured to detect the switching operation. The control section is configured to switch travelling from automatic driving to manual driving in the case of detecting the switching operation by the detection section.

Driving mode switching device

A motor controller has an assist controller that generates an assist instruction AC to generate an assist torque for lightening a steering load based on a detected value of a steering torque, and a follow controller obtaining a target value of a physical quantity regarding a steering operation and generating a follow instruction TC of a follow control. Further, an intervention detector in the motor controller detects an intervention of a driver or of a system, and a restrictor restricts an internal value that is used by the assist controller or by the follow controller, so that a ratio of the assist torque against the automatic steering torque is changed, which makes it possible to switch a control to the driver or to a system without a causing a wrong feeling to the driver.

Motor controller

When the vehicle decelerates on the ascending slope, a required brake axle torque is calculated in accordance with vehicle deceleration, so that the swinging back is suppressed. At start timing after that, initial and final values of the required brake axle torque and a correction duration are determined. During the correction duration from the start timing, the required brake axle torque is decreased from the initial value to the final value. Then, based on change in a detected vehicular speed at or before a time which is a last moment of a period in which the detected vehicular speed detected based on detection signals of the wheel speed sensors are equal to or larger than a minimum detectable vehicular speed, a stop time at which an actual vehicle speed becomes zero is estimated, a period from the start time to the stop time is identified as the correction duration.

Brake control device

A vehicle motion controlling apparatus has an allocating unit for selecting steering or braking control mainly performed in cooperative control, receiving a desired value of vehicle turning motion, allocating steering and braking controls for the motion, determining main yaw rate from vehicle conditions, and determining a non-main yaw rate from difference between the desired value and the main yaw rate. Setting units set assist torque corresponding to the main yaw rate and braking torque corresponding to the non-main yaw rate when the steering control is selected and set braking torque corresponding to the main yaw rate and assist torque corresponding to the non-main yaw rate when the braking control is selected. The assist torque is generated for assisting a change of steering angle of vehicle in steering control. The braking torque is generated for applying braking force to wheel of vehicle in braking control.

Apparatus for controlling motion of vehicle

A determination apparatus is provided which is installed in a vehicle. A longitudinal acceleration calculation unit obtains acceleration applied in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, removes an acceleration component corresponding to gravity from the acceleration, and regards the resultant value as longitudinal acceleration. A selection unit selects criteria data, when considering a first case where the absolute value of the longitudinal acceleration is a first value and a second case where the absolute value is a second value larger than the first value, so that a range of accelerator-opening variation by which occurrence of an erroneous application of the accelerator is determined or a range of accelerator-opening by which the occurrence is determined in the second case becomes larger than that in the first case. A determination unit determines the occurrence by applying the current variation in the accelerator-opening or the current accelerator-opening to the selected criteria data.

Determination apparatus for determining erroneous application of accelerator rather than brake

A braking/driving control apparatus for a vehicle includes a basic control unit which calculates and outputs a target axle torque based on a target acceleration and a driving resistance of the vehicle and which determines an axle torque for a power train of the vehicle and an axle torque for a braking apparatus of the vehicle based on the calculated target axle torque, a sliding-down prediction determining unit which determines whether there is a possibility that the vehicle slides down rearwards on an uphill road, and a sliding-down preventing process executing unit which performs a process for reducing a possibility that the vehicle slides down, based on a determination result of the sliding-down prediction determining unit. After the sliding-down prediction determining unit determines that there is the possibility, the sliding-down preventing process executing unit controls the basic control unit to calculate and output the target axle torque so as to reach an axle torque which is obtained by reducing a predetermined positive amount form an estimated value of an axle torque necessary for the vehicle to achieve the target acceleration against the driving resistance.

Braking/driving control apparatus for vehicle

In an electronic unit having a stack in memory and adapted to run a plurality of tasks in accordance with a multitask operating system and to save context data in the stack, a scheduling unit schedules the plurality of tasks for wakeup so as to execute the plurality of tasks. Each of the plurality of tasks stays in at least one of a suspended state, a ready state, and a running state. A measurement unit measures an amount of space to be used in the stack during the at least one of the tasks staying in neither the running state nor the ready state.
