A central processing unit in a programmable controller is connectable to a plurality of logging devices to detect a trigger to log control data about device control. The central processing unit includes a bus communicator that receives a first trigger signal indicating the trigger from a first logging device of the plurality of logging devices, and a trigger relay that transmits the first trigger signal to a second logging device different from the first logging device when the first trigger signal is received. The trigger relay excludes, from a transmission target, a second trigger signal different from the first trigger signal and received in a period from when the first trigger signal is received to when the trigger relay completes transmitting the first trigger signal.

A vehicle includes a battery, an air conditioner, a first temperature adjustment circuit including a first pump and a chiller, a second temperature adjustment circuit including a second pump and a radiator, a coupling passage configured to connect the first temperature adjustment circuit and the second temperature adjustment circuit to form a coupling circuit, an electromagnetic switching valve configured to switch between a circulation state in which the heat medium can circulate through the coupling circuit and a non-circulation state in which the heat medium cannot circulate through the coupling circuit, a first temperature sensor configured to acquire a temperature of the battery, and a control device configured to select a mode based on at least the temperature of the battery. A communication system includes a master device and a slave device that perform, at predetermined periods, communication for sharing storage data stored in a cyclic memory. Semiconductor device

A display apparatus comprises a display unit which has a plurality of organic EL elements two-dimensionally arranged to define pixels. Each organic EL element comprises a first electrode, an organic EL layer, and a second electrode laminated in order on an optically transparent substrate. One of the first electrode and second electrode is an optically transparent electrode, while the other is a non-optically transparent electrode. The non-optically transparent electrode is disposed to exist only in part of each pixel, as viewed from vertically above (for example, the width of the electrode is made smaller than the width of a pixel). In this way, the display unit can transmit light through portions of the pixels in which the non-optically transparent electrodes are not disposed. Preferably, the non-optically transparent electrode includes a mirror surface opposite to the organic EL layer.
