A server for a charge-discharge system includes a controller. The controller is configured to communicate with a plurality of registered vehicles each equipped with a chargeable-dischargeable battery. The controller is configured to acquire information on a scheduled start time of a next travel of each of the registered vehicles. The controller is configured to acquire electric power information. The controller is configured to determine, based on the scheduled travel start time and the electric power information, a target vehicle of which the battery is to be charged or discharged from among the registered vehicles that are at least parked. The controller is configured to send to the target vehicle either a charge command that orders the battery of the target vehicle to be charged or a discharge command that orders the battery of the target vehicle to be discharged.

An energy saving support system according to an embodiment is configured to provide a consumer, who has an electric load to which electric energy is supplied from an electric power supply system within a house, with energy consumption-related information through a photo frame or the like. The information providing apparatus is configured to acquire an acceptability level, which stepwise indicates a degree of interest of the consumer in the energy consumption-related information, and to determine the energy consumption-related information to be newly provided to the consumer based on the acceptability level.

A locking bar may engage with an ignition switch which is switched to a START position and a LOCK position by a pushing operation, and may unlock a steering shaft when the ignition switch is at the START position and lock the steering shaft when the ignition switch is at the LOCK position. An ID code decision portion may decide whether or not an input identification number coincides with a registered identification number. A first actuator may unlock the ignition switch when the input identification number coincides with the registered identification number, and may lock the ignition switch when the input identification number does not coincide with the registered identification number. Accordingly, lock of the steering shaft due to failure or malfunction during running can be prevented.

Steering locking device

A circuit breaking control unit receives an impact detection signal that is outputted from outside when an impact such as a crash of a motor vehicle has been detected, and generates and applies a circuit breaking control signal based on the impact detection signal. A circuit breaking unit forcibly interrupts a power supply path and stops the supply of power to a load. Therefore, the supply of power can be stopped immediately at the time the impact has been detected. In addition, a second load is a minimum electric system that is essential to cause the motor vehicle to travel. Therefore, even if the supply of power to the load is interrupted, the motor vehicle can be caused to travel. Hence, even at the time of an accident or the like, the motor vehicle can be moved to the edge of a road or the like with ease.

A novel push switch is disclosed, in which a key-top for turning on and off a switch contact by depression has a cam which is adapted to engage a guide pin to lock the key-top. A latch assembly includes the guide pin, a spring plate on which the guide pin is assembled, and a magazine in which the guide pin and the spring plate are assembled. The latch assembly is mounted on a latch mount of the push-switch housing.

In a rubber contact switch in which ends of lead lines of an LED extend to the rear surface of a printed board through holes of a rubber contact sheet to be soldered on the printed board, a recessed portion is formed in the peripheral portions of the holes on the rear surface of the rubber contact sheet, and heat generated by soldering of the lead lines is prevented from being directly transmitted to the rubber contact sheet.

Rubber contact switch

A magnetic element switch is provided which can reduce the number of parts and the cost of the switch as well as improve the reliability thereof. The magnetic element switch includes an operation part oscillatable about a neutral position when operated by an operator, a magnet oscillatable about a neutral position directly or indirectly due to the oscillation of the operation part, and a magnetic element fixedly disposed adjacent to the magnet for generating an electromotive voltage proportional to the density of a magnetic flux incident thereon. The magnetic element is positioned such that a magnetic force line generated by the magnet at the neutral position is allowed to pass through the magnetic element parallel to an electric field formed with the magnetic element and also such that, when the magnet is oscillated, the magnetic force line is allowed to pass therethrough not parallel to the electric field within the magnetic element. The magnetic element switch is operated based on an electromotive voltage having a plurality of values generated by the magnetic element at a plurality of predetermined oscillation positions of the magnet.
