A positioning system includes an elevation angle calculator that determines, as a second elevation angle, an inverse cosine of a first value, upon occurrence of a condition in which an absolute value of a first elevation angle is greater than or equal to a second predetermined angle, the second predetermined angle being greater than a first predetermined angle, the first value being obtained by dividing a second value that is obtained by correcting, with a correction value, an altitude measured by an altitude measurement unit, by a distance measured by a distance measurement unit. The elevation angle calculator selects any one of the first elevation angle and the second elevation angle, based on a value of the first elevation angle.

Positioning system

An electrostatic input device includes a capacitance detector that is disposed at an operation part to be operated by a living body, and is configured to detect capacitance; and a controller that is formed of an integrated circuit, and is configured to transition the capacitance detector to an activated state in response to an increment in the capacitance detected by the capacitance detector reaching or exceeding a first predetermined value a predetermined number of times or more within a predetermined period in a case in which the capacitance detector is in a standby state and no contact with the living body is detected.

Electrostatic input device

An angle measuring device includes an antenna device having antenna elements equally spaced along a first axis and a second axis, respectively, a selecting unit that selects phase differences with which a variance thereof becomes a predetermined value or less, from a plurality of phase differences of signals received from a transmission device by the antenna elements, an azimuth angle computing unit that computes an azimuth angle of the transmission device from a ratio of a first phase difference between signals received by two antenna elements spaced by a predetermined distance along the first axis and a second phase difference between signals received by two antenna elements space by the predetermined distance along the second axis, and an elevation angle computing unit that computes an elevation angle of the transmission device, based on the computed azimuth angle and the first or second phase difference.

Angle measuring device and angle measuring method

In order to provide a receiver capable of accurately determining a phase difference of I/Q signals, a receiver includes a section detector configured to detect a section between a rising and a falling of a phase based on the rising and the falling of the phase represented by I/Q signals generated based on an advertisement packet transmitted from a transmitter, and a section setting unit configured to identify, within the section between the rising and the falling of the phase, a period in which a first variation amount of the phase is equal to or less than a first predetermined amount, and use the identified period as a section for detecting the phase of the I/Q signals. The section detector detects the rising when a first phase is smaller than a last phase among a plurality of phases acquired by sampling the phases.

Receiver

A door handle including a capacitance sensor configured to detect an operation body is provided. The capacitance sensor includes a substrate formed of an insulator and having a surface, at least one first sensor electrode disposed on the surface of the substrate, a plurality of second sensor electrodes disposed on the surface of the substrate, and a controller. The number of the plurality of second sensor electrodes is greater than the number of the at least one first sensor electrode. The controller applies a voltage to the plurality of second sensor electrodes and detects a coordinate position of the operation body, in a case where a capacitance between the operation body and the at least one first sensor electrode is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.

Door handle

A remote communication system includes a portable device; and a fixed system. The fixed system includes main communication modules; and a position estimating unit configured to estimate a position of the portable device, based on an incident angle of a signal from the portable device, upon detecting the signal by antennas provided in the main communication modules. When there are two main communication modules for which the incident angle is known, the position of the portable device is estimated based on the incident angle. When there is one main communication module for which the incident angle is known, the position of the portable device is estimated based on the incident angle and a received radio wave intensity of the signal. When there is no main communication module for which the incident angle is known, the position of the portable device is estimated based on the received radio wave intensity.

Remote communication system

An operation detection device includes an electrostatic sensor accommodated inside a casing and including a first conductor and a second conductor, and a controller electrically connected to the first conductor and the second conductor, and applies a voltage to each of the first conductor and the second conductor, to measure an electrostatic capacitance of each of the first conductor and the second conductor. The first conductor is arranged in and the second conductor is not arranged in a detection region in which an operating body is detected by the electrostatic sensor. The first conductor and the second conductor are arranged in a non-detection region in which the operating body is not detected.

Operation detection device and door handle

An operation input device includes a resistance element to generate a capacitance between an operating medium and the resistance element in response to an approach of the operating medium to the resistance element, and a power source to supply electric charge to one end and the other end of the resistance element. A first electric unit measures a first electric charge transfer amount supplied to the one end of the resistance element in response to generation of the capacitance. A second unit measures a second electric charge transfer amount supplied to the other end of the resistance element in response to generation of the capacitance. A controller is connected to the first and second units, and detects a position of the operating medium in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the resistance element based on a sum of the first and second electric charge transfer amounts.

Operation input device and door handle

A door handle includes door handle case, a first detection electrode and a second detection electrode disposed in the door handle case, and a controller connected to the first detection electrode and the second detection electrode. The controller separately measures a first capacitance between the first detection electrode and an operation body and a second capacitance between the second detection electrode and the operation body, and the controller determines whether a locking operation is performed by the operation body based on one or both of the first capacitance and the second capacitance.

An operation device includes a housing, an operation member, and a detector. The housing includes an electrically conductive portion on a surface thereof. The operation member is supported by the housing such that the operation member is movable in response to an operation by an operation body, and is configured to be capacitively coupled to the operation body and to the electrically conductive portion. The detector is configured to detect whether the operation body is in proximity to the operation member based on a change in capacitance at the electrically conductive portion.

Operation device and operation member

A force sensor includes a substrate; a first electrode fixed to a first area on the substrate; a second electrode fixed to a second area different from the first area on the substrate, the second electrode extending to a position higher than the first electrode; a capacitance detecting unit configured to detect a capacitance corresponding to a distance between the first electrode and the second electrode; and an operation member including a contact area that is in contact with the second electrode. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is provided in plurality. The second electrode is elastically deformed by a load applied to the second electrode by an operation with respect to the operation member, and the distance between the second electrode and the first electrode changes according to an elastic deformation of the second electrode.

Force sensor including a capacitance detecting unit configured to detect a capacitance corresponding to a distance between a first electrode and a second electrode

An operation input device includes a substrate formed of an insulator, a plurality of detecting electrodes provided on a surface of the substrate, and a controller, wherein the controller detects capacitance generated between each of the detecting electrodes and an operation body when the operation body is positioned in proximity to the substrate, and determines that a gesture operation by the operation body is performed when a duration from when the capacitance becomes a first threshold or greater to when the capacitance becomes a second threshold or greater is a predetermined value or greater, or when a length in which the operation body is moved from when the capacitance becomes the first threshold or greater to when the capacitance becomes the second threshold or greater is a predetermined value or greater, the first threshold being a threshold for the capacitance, and the second threshold being greater than the first threshold.

The biological information measurement apparatus includes a first signal applying unit which applies a first applying signal to electrodes at the time of the measurement of biological information, a biological information measurement unit which measures biological information based on detection signals of the electrodes at the time of the measurement of biological information, a second signal applying unit which applies a second applying signal to the electrodes at a time of detection of an attached state, and an attached state detection unit which detects an attached state based on the detection signals at the time of the detection of an attached state. At least some of the electrodes at the time of the measurement of biological information is identical with at least some of the electrodes at the time of the detection of an attached state.

Biological information measurement apparatus, method for controlling the same, and recording medium

An input device includes an operation panel, a frame disposed on a back side of the operation panel, a pressure detector disposed between the operation panel and the frame, and an elastic part. The pressure detector includes a lever including a deformation part that warps when a pressing force is applied, a protruding part provided on a first surface of the deformation part, and a surrounding wall provided on a periphery of a second surface of the deformation part; and a pressure detection element that is disposed in a region of the second surface of the deformation part surrounded by the surrounding wall, warps along with the deformation part, and outputs a pressure detection signal corresponding to the pressing force. The elastic part is disposed between the protruding part or the surrounding wall and the frame or the operation panel and applies a pre-pressure to the deformation part.

Input device

A tactile sensation presenting device includes: a warmth/coldness presenting element configured to present warm/cold information to a presentation area; a vibrating element configured to present vibration information; and a frame made of a thermally insulating material and having an opening portion. In the tactile sensation presenting device, with respect to the warmth/coldness presenting element, at least part of the presentation area is exposed from the opening portion of the frame such that an operating part is able to contact the presentation area and surroundings of the exposed area are covered by the frame. In the tactile sensation presenting device, the vibration information, which is presented by the vibrating element, is transmitted to the warmth/coldness presenting element, and a tactile sensation, which includes the warm/cold information and the vibration information, is presented to the presentation area.
