Provided is a lathe capable of shortening the spindle. The lathe comprises a spindle, a spindle support which supports the spindle through a bearing on an outer side of the spindle, a collet disposed on a front end of the spindle, an inner ring holder provided on the spindle to hold a front of an inner ring of the bearing, an outer ring holder provided on the spindle support to hold a front of an outer ring of the bearing, a cap screwed into the spindle in front of the inner ring holder, and a cover detachably provided on the spindle support side. The cover has an inner circumferential surface facing an outer circumferential surface of the cap. A first air purging unit is provided between the inner circumferential surface of the cover and the outer circumferential surface of the cap.

Lathe

A covering material for an electric wire contains a polyvinyl chloride. The covering material has a property of a change curve of loss modulus with respect to temperature which shows no peak within a temperature range in a usage environment for the electric wire.

Covering material for electric wire and covered electric wire

A flat shielded cable includes conductors arranged in parallel, an insulating jacket section that covers the conductors and has an exposed conductor section which exposes a part of at least one of the conductors, and a shielding member that covers the jacket section. The conductor is electrically connected to the shielding member via the exposed conductor section. The shielding member has a first layer made of shielding material and a second layer made of binder resin containing metal filler. A D90 particle diameter of the metal filler is 6 &#x3bc;m and a difference between a D10 particle diameter and a D95 particle diameter of the metal filler is 6 &#x3bc;m or more, and the metal filler is contained in the second layer in an amount of 65 wt % or more.
