In a motor control device, a two-phase/three-phase converter is configured to convert a d-axis voltage instruction and a q-axis voltage instruction into voltage instructions in UVW phases. An inverter is configured to generate drive voltages for driving coils based on the drive pulse signals. A position detector is configured to detect a rotational position. A rotational speed calculator is configured to calculate a rotational speed. A current detector is configured to detect drive currents flowing into the coils. A three-phase/two-phase converter is configured to convert detected drive current values into a d-axis current value and a q-axis current value. A d-axis voltage instruction generation unit is configured to acquire a difference between the d-axis current value and a d-axis current instruction having a predetermined value, and to generate the d-axis voltage instruction based on PI computation performed on the difference. A q-axis voltage instruction generation unit is configured to acquire a difference between a speed instruction and the rotational speed calculated by a rotational speed calculation unit, and to generate the q-axis voltage instruction based on PI computation performed on the difference.

A brushless motor drive device includes the following: an inverter circuit configured to energize and drive the winding of a brushless motor; a current detection circuit configured to detect the current value of the winding; a control unit configured to control the rotation of the motor; and an RC filter including a resistor and a capacitor. The control unit includes the following: a drive control unit configured to generate a signal to drive the inverter; a clock generation circuit configured to generate a clock pulse to be used as a reference for an operation period; a pulse output circuit configured to generate a pulse signal with a changing frequency based on the clock pulse and to apply the pulse signal to the RC filter; an AD converter circuit connected to the capacitor of the RC filter and the current detection circuit; and an AD-conversion-error calculation unit configured to calculate the conversion error of the AD converter circuit. The AD-conversion-error calculation unit calculates the conversion error based on the difference between the output value of the AD converter circuit produced in response to an input of the voltage of the capacitor and an AD-converted value calculated from the charging time of the capacitor.

A connector includes a contact connected to a member to be connected and brought into contact with a wire so as to electrically connect the member to be connected and the wire. The contact includes contact portions coming into contact with the wire when the wire moves in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to a wire extending direction in which the wire extends, and movement restriction members for restricting a movement of the wire on the contact in a state where the wire is in contact with the contact portions. The contact further includes a movement regulation member for regulating a movement of the wire in the perpendicular direction in the state where the wire is in contact with the contact portions.

A host controller is incorporated with a plurality of different pieces of control software which are applicable to a plurality of destinations for a cooling blower to cool a main battery incorporated in a vehicle. The host controller transmits a destination-signal request pattern for requesting a destination signal pattern to specify the determinations for the cooling blower, to a motor control device by a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. Upon receiving the destination-signal request pattern, the motor control device transmits the destination signal pattern to the host controller. The host controller specifies one of the destinations for the cooling blower from the received destination signal pattern, and then changes over the control software to the control software applicable to the specified destination for the cooling blower.

The brushless motor control device according to the present invention includes a drive controller, current detection circuits, AD converter circuits, a clock generation circuit, a pulse output circuit, and an RC filter. The drive controller generates a driving signal for driving a brushless motor. The current detection circuits each detect a current of the brushless motor. The AD converter circuits are each connected to a different one of the current detection circuits. The clock generation circuit outputs a clock pulse. The pulse output circuit outputs a pulse signal according to the clock pulse. The RC filter receives the pulse signal. The RC filter is formed of a resistor and a capacitor connected in series. A pull-up resistor connecting to a predetermined power supply is connected to an intermediate connection point between the resistor and the capacitor. Based on output values form the AD converter circuits, it is determined whether the clock generation circuit, the AD converter circuits, and the current detection circuit are in an abnormal condition.

The present motor driving device controls a speed while correcting the actual rotational speed based on the PWM period error.
