A control device includes a processor that calculates one or more predetermined command values for one or more robots to undergo synchronous control in predetermined control cycles, an output unit that outputs the one or more predetermined command values in each of the predetermined control cycles, and a generator that generates an output signal for a virtual robot. The virtual robot is virtually defined in relation to the synchronous control. The processor calculates the one or more predetermined command values using the output signal for the virtual robot generated by the generator.

A semiconductor detector includes a plate-shaped semiconductor part, a signal output electrode for outputting a signal provided at one surface of the semiconductor part, a plurality of curved electrodes provided at the one surface of the semiconductor part and which have distances from the signal output electrode that are different from each other, and an arc-shaped collection electrode for collecting an electric charge generated at the semiconductor part. Three or more tubular radiation detectors are arranged around an irradiation axis of radiation directed to a sample from an irradiation unit such that the end face thereof is opposed to the position irradiated with radiation. The radiation emitted from the sample enters the radiation detector through an end face and is detected. In the radiation detector, the length in the direction parallel to the straight line which is on the plane orthogonal to the irradiation axis and is perpendicular to the central axis continuously decreases from a position along the central axis to the end face. The size of each radiation detector around the irradiation axis is reduced as it approaches the end face, preventing the radiation detectors from interfering with one another and allowing the radiation detector to be closer to the sample compared to the conventional case. This makes it possible for the radiation detection apparatus to detect radiation from the sample with high efficiency.

A semiconductor detector for detecting radiation comprises a first semiconductor part in which an electron and a hole are generated by incident radiation; a signal output electrode outputting a signal base on the electron or the hole; and a gettering part gettering impurities in the first semiconductor part. In addition, the semiconductor detector further comprises a second semiconductor part doped with a type of dopant impurities and having dopant impurity concentration higher than that of the first semiconductor part. The second semiconductor part is in contact with the first semiconductor part. The gettering part is in contact with the second semiconductor part and not in contact with the first semiconductor part.
