A pedestal type device that functions as anon-limiting example charger comprises a connection portion that is constituted by a connection plug and a cover. The cover is supported so as to be movable up and down through a second hole of a placement portion. Furthermore, a convex portion that is protruded toward a front side is provided in a center of a lower end portion of a rear support portion. Two first projections are formed on an upper surface of the cover, and a first hole is formed between them. The connection plug is supported so as to be movable up and down through a third hole. If the convex portion is fitted into a first concave portion formed in a rear surface of electronic device when the electronic device is placed on the placement portion, the first projections are respectively fitted into two third concave portions formed on an undersurface of the electronic device, whereby the cover is pushed down. Therefore, the connection plug is inserted into the depths of a connector of the electronic device.

Charger and charging system

A pedestal type device that functions as a non-limiting example charger comprises a connection portion that is constituted by a connection plug and a cover. The cover is supported so as to be movable up and down through a second hole of a placement portion. Furthermore, a convex portion that is protruded toward a front side is provided in a center of a lower end portion of a rear support portion. Two first projections are formed on an upper surface of the cover, and a first hole is formed between them. The connection plug is supported so as to be movable up and down through a third hole. If the convex portion is fitted into a first concave portion formed in a rear surface of electronic device when the electronic device is placed on the placement portion, the first projections are respectively fitted into two third concave portions formed on an undersurface of the electronic device, whereby the cover is pushed down. Therefore, the connection plug is inserted into the depths of a connector of the electronic device.

There is provided an interactive system, which includes a remote controller. The remote controller is equipped with a camera to capture an operating frame having a user image and a background image therein; and a processing unit to analyze the operating frame to identify a user image section and a background image section within the operating frame corresponding to the user image and the background image respectively, wherein the processing unit generates a movement information of the remote controller according to intensity distributions of the user image section and the background image section.

An example terminal device includes a generally plate-shaped housing, an LCD provided on the front side of the housing, analog sticks, and first and second buttons. The analog sticks are provided respectively in left and right portions of the LCD above the center of the housing. The first and second buttons are provided on the back side of the housing so as to generally correspond to the analog sticks on the front side of the housing.

An example device includes a generally plate-shaped housing, a display provided on the front side of the housing, analog sticks, an L button, and an R button. An example terminal device includes a housing, and a first terminal (e.g., a charging terminal). The housing is generally plate-shaped and includes an engagement hole formed therein. The first terminal is provided on a surface (e.g., a bottom surface) of the housing on which the engagement hole is formed. A stand, which is a support device, includes a support member, a second terminal (e.g., a charging terminal), and guide members which are rotating members. The second terminal can be connected to the first terminal of the terminal device. The support member supports a predetermined surface (e.g., a back surface) of the housing when the first terminal and the second terminal are connected to each other. Each of the guide members can rotate in a predetermined direction and is provided at such a position that it is received into the engagement hole when the first terminal and the second terminal are connected to each other.

An example controller system includes a terminal device, and an input device as an additional device configured to be attachable to and detachable from the terminal device. The terminal device includes a generally plate-shaped housing, and an LCDprovided on the front side of the housing. The input device includes an operation section such as a stick, a bar-shaped first grip portion, and a support portion. The support portion detachably supports the terminal device so that the screen of the LCD is in a generally vertical direction when the first grip portion is in the vertical direction.
