An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element that includes an anode part and a cathode part, an exterior body that seals the capacitor element, a first external electrode that is electrically connected to the anode part, and a second external electrode that is electrically connected to the cathode part. At least one of an end face of the anode part or an end face of the cathode part is exposed from the exterior body to be electrically connected to a corresponding one of the first external electrode or the second external electrode. The end face exposed from the exterior body is covered with an electroless Ni plating layer, and the electroless Ni plating layer is covered with an electroless Ag plating layer. The electroless Ag plating layer is covered with the corresponding one of the first external electrode or the second external electrode.

Disclosed is a method for producing an electrolytic capacitor, the method including the steps of: preparing an anode foil that includes a dielectric layer, a cathode foil, and a fiber structure; preparing a conductive polymer dispersion liquid that contains a conductive polymer component and a dispersion medium; producing a separator by applying the conductive polymer dispersion liquid to the fiber structure and then removing at least a portion of the dispersion medium; and producing a capacitor element by sequentially stacking the anode foil, the separator, and the cathode foil. The dispersion medium contains water. The fiber structure contains a synthetic fiber in an amount of 50 mass % or more. The fiber structure has a density of 0.2 g/cmor more and less than 0.45 g/cm.

Conductive polymer dispersion liquid, electrolytic capacitor, and method for producing electrolytic capacitor

A method for producing an electrolytic capacitor, the method including steps of: preparing an electrode foil; preparing a first conductive polymer dispersion containing a first conductive polymer component and a first dispersion medium; forming a first conductive polymer layer containing the first conductive polymer component, by applying the first conductive polymer dispersion to a surface of the electrode foil by a coating method, and then at least partially removing the first dispersion medium; and fabricating a capacitor element, using the electrode foil having the first conductive polymer layer.

Electrolytic capacitor and method for producing the same

Disclosed is a method for producing an electrolytic capacitor, the method including the steps of preparing an anode foil that includes a dielectric layer, a cathode foil, and a fiber structure; preparing a conductive polymer dispersion liquid that contains a conductive polymer component and a dispersion medium; producing a separator by applying the conductive polymer dispersion liquid to the fiber structure and then removing at least a portion of the dispersion medium; and producing a capacitor element by sequentially stacking the anode foil, the separator, and the cathode foil. The dispersion medium contains water. The fiber structure contains a synthetic fiber in an amount of 50 mass % or more. The fiber structure has a density of 0.2 g/cmor more and less than 0.45 g/cm.

Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor including: a capacitor element including a pair of electrodes; an electrolyte interposed between the pair of electrodes; a pair of leads electrically connected to the pair of electrodes, respectively; a case in which the capacitor element and the electrolyte are accommodated, and that has an opening; a sealing member that seals the opening, and has a pair of insertion holes for leading out the leads; an insulating plate having a pair of through holes for leading out the leads; and a resin member filled between the sealing member and the insulating plate, wherein the insulating plate has a resin bonding surface that abuts against the resin member, and a mounting surface opposed to the resin bonding surface, and includes at least one protrusion or recess on the resin bonding surface.

The anode body has a surface provided with a dielectric layer. The solid electrolyte is in contact with the dielectric layer, is disposed between the anode body and the cathode body and contains conductive polymer. The liquid component is in contact with the dielectric layer and the solid electrolyte and contains a solvent and an acid component. The acid component contains a first polymer acid component including a sulfonic acid group or a carboxylic acid group.

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, a case, and a sealing member. The case has an opening and houses the capacitor element. The sealing member seals the opening. The sealing member includes an elastic member that is fit in the opening. The elastic member includes a polymer component and a particle component. The polymer component includes at least butyl rubber. The particle component includes at least particles of kaolin. An average particle size of the particles of kaolin is less than or equal to 4 &#x3bc;m.

The separator has a first surface layer, which includes a first surface opposed to the anode body, and a second surface layer, which includes a second surface opposed to the cathode body. An amount of the conductive polymer deposited in a first separator half body, which is a part from a center of the separator to the first surface, is greater than an amount of the conductive polymer deposited in a second separator half body, which is a part from the center of the separator to the second surface.

The separator includes a first surface layer having a first surface facing the anode body and a second surface layer having a second surface facing the cathode body. The first surface layer includes a first region that is not provided with the conductive polymer, and the second surface layer includes a second region provided with the conductive polymer.
