A split-type laminated iron core is composed by laminating a plurality of metal plate materials having an annular shape. The metal plate material includes a first split piece and a second split piece arranged in a circumferential direction and divided by a predetermined cutting line. A shear surface formed on a first end surface of the first split piece and a shear surface formed on a second end surface of the second split piece abut on each other, and the first split piece and the second split piece are temporarily connected via the cutting line defined by a boundary between the first end surface and the second end surface so that the first end surface and the second end surface do not completely overlap.

A method of manufacturing a stacked core includes forming a first pilot hole in a metal plate, forming a worked portion of the metal plate in a state in which a first pilot pin is inserted into the first pilot hole, the worked portion being displaced relative to a plane of the metal plate, press-fitting the worked portion of the metal plate to reposition the worked portion to extend along the plane of the metal plate, forming a second pilot hole in the metal plate after press-fitting the worked portion of the metal plate, and forming a blanked member by blanking the metal plate in a state in which a second pilot pin is inserted into the second pilot hole, the blanked member including the worked portion.

Method of manufacturing stacked core and apparatus for manufacturing stacked core

A die apparatus includes a tip end part blanking punch which forms a tip end configuration of a belt-shaped sheet through a punch holding unit in an upper die. The punch holding unit includes a punch plate which holds the tip end part blanking punch, a punch plate moving mechanism which is lowered together with the upper die in a state where the punch plate is separated from the upper die when the tip end configuration of the belt-shaped sheet is formed, and holds the punch plate in a state where the punch plate is allowed to come near to the upper die when the punch plate is lifted, and an actuating mechanism which operates the punch plate moving mechanism in cooperation with a blanking or stamping operation of the upper die only when the tip end configuration of the belt-shaped sheet is formed.
