A display control system includes: a processing device; and a circuit device configured to perform display control on a display device under control of the processing device. The processing device outputs an expected value of an error detection code of a specific still image in a predetermined frame of a video displayed on the display device, and the circuit device includes an error check circuit that receives image data of the video from the processing device, calculates an error detection code value of the specific still image in the predetermined frame, and checks an error by comparing the error detection code value with the expected value.

A circuit device is used for a head-up display apparatus. The circuit device includes a distortion correction circuit and an error detection circuit. The distortion correction circuit performs a distortion correction on input image data as image data of an input image and outputs output image data as image data of an output image after the distortion correction. Respective first divisional areas of a first divisional area group formed by division of the input image correspond to respective second divisional areas of a second divisional area group in the output image in the distortion correction. Here, the error detection circuit detects an occlusion error in a display image of the head-up display apparatus based on the output image data of the respective second divisional areas.

Circuit device and head-up display apparatus

A circuit device is used in a display device. The display device includes a display panel and a backlight including a plurality of light sources. The circuit device includes a distortion correction circuit, a failure information acquisition circuit, a position information acquisition circuit, and a host interface circuit. The distortion correction circuit executes distortion correction on input image data to output output image data after the distortion correction. The failure information acquisition circuit acquires failure information of the light sources. The position information acquisition circuit converts panel-side light source position information, which is position information of a faulty light source indicated by the failure information on the display panel, into input-side light source position information, which is position information of the faulty light source on the input image data. The host interface circuit outputs the input-side light source position information to a host.

A liquid ejecting head includes a pressure chamber formation substrate having a pressure chamber formed therein, a flow path formation substrate that is connected to the pressure chamber formation substrate, and that has a flow path in communication with the pressure chamber formed in a state penetrating through the flow path formation substrate in a thickness direction thereof, and a nozzle plate that is connected to the flow path formation substrate on an opposite side to the pressure chamber formation substrate, and that has a nozzle in communication with the flow path opened therein. The flow path formation substrate is configured from a single substrate, and an opening area on a pressure chamber side of the flow path is formed wider than an opening area on a nozzle side of the flow path.

A POS terminal that configures peripheral devices connected to a receipt printer has a device configuration selection unit for selecting a configuration of peripheral devices; and a device configuration screen display unit that displays a configuration screen for the peripheral devices based on the selected device configuration. Because a configuration screen for a peripheral device that is not connected to the receipt printer (a configuration screen that is not needed) is not displayed, the risk of creating confusion regarding the configuration of a peripheral device for the user can be reduced.
