A mobile device is carried by a person to be authenticated. An acceleration sensor is installed in the mobile device and configured to output an acceleration signal corresponding to acceleration applied to the mobile device. A processing device is configured to execute determination processing for determining whether the person is walking based on the acceleration signal. A control device is configured to control transmission of a radio signal, and to control an operation of a controlled device based on a result of the determination processing and a result of authentication processing for authenticating, by way of the mobile device, the person as a user of the controlled device. The determination processing is activated in response to reception of the radio signal by the mobile device.

Authentication system, mobile device, processing device, and non-transitory computer-readable medium

A mobile device is carried by a person to be authenticated. An acceleration sensor is installed in the mobile device and configured to output an acceleration signal corresponding to acceleration applied to the mobile device. A processing device is configured to execute determination processing for determining whether the person is walking based on the acceleration signal. A control device is configured to control operation of a controlled device based on a result of the determination processing and a result of processing for authenticating, by way of the mobile device, the person as a user of the controlled device. The control of the controlled device based on the authentication processing is disabled from time when the determination processing is initiated by the processing device until when a determination as to whether the person is walking is initially made.

A mobile device possessed by a user is equipped with: a motion sensor which is capable of detecting the motion of the mobile device; a receiver which is capable of receiving a polling signal transmitted from equipment; and a control unit which is configured so as to set, in response to whether or not the polling signal has been received by the receiver, the sampling speed with which the motion sensor detects the motion of the mobile device.

Mobile device

An electronic key registration system includes an electronic key and a communication master. The electronic key transmits a registration code. The communication master receives the registration code from the electronic key, obtains key information using the registration code, and registers the key information. The registration code is set in accordance with the communication master to which the electronic key is registered. The communication master includes a level determination unit, which determines a key registration security level when the electronic key is registered to the communication master, and a registration execution unit, which obtains the key information using the registration code based on the determined key registration security level and registers the key information to the communication master.

A method for registering a first electronic key, which is capable of controlling a communication subject, to a controller of the communication subject, the method including: performing an initial production process including storing identification information unique to the communication subject in the controller, and storing an encryption key generation code unique to the first electronic key and an encryption key that is used to verify the first electronic key in the first electronic key; and performing an initial registration process including writing the identification information stored in the controller to the first electronic key, obtaining the encryption key generation code from the first electronic key, generating the encryption key with an encryption key generation logic that uses the encryption key generation code, storing the encryption key in the controller, and storing encryption key information related to the encryption key in a database in association with the identification information.

Electronic key registration method and electronic key registration system

An electronic key registration system includes an electronic key device that stores a key ID and a first piece of information. A controller is arranged in a communication subject. A registration tool writes the key ID to the controller and stores a second piece of information. Encrypted communication between the communication subject and the electronic key device is enabled after the key ID and a corresponding encryption key are written to the controller. An information center, which communicates with the registration tool, receives and compares the first and second pieces of information. The registration tool is permitted to write the key ID when receiving a signal from the information center indicating that the first and second pieces of information conform to each other.

A method for registering an electronic key includes storing an electronic key ID and an encryption code in a controller to register the electronic key to the controller, and associating a communication subject ID, which is unique to a communication subject, with a controller ID, which is unique to the controller storing the electronic key ID and the encryption code, and the electronic key ID.

An immobilizer ECU generates an encryption key using key generating logic, from a SEED code included in an ID code signal sent from an electronic key, and registers the encryption key to the immobilizer ECU. The immobilizer ECU receives an instruction from a registration and deletion tool and sends, to the electronic key, a deletion request signal that requests the deletion of the SEED code. The electronic key deletes the SEED code from the electronic key if a deletion request signal has been received.

Portable device registration system and portable device registration method

A method for registering first and second electronic keys, which are capable of controlling a communication subject, to a controller of the communication subject, wherein the first electronic key is to be initially registered, and the second electronic key is to be additionally registered, the method including: performing an additional key production process including storing, in the second electronic key, an additional encryption key generation code unique to the second electronic key and an additional encryption key that is used to verify the second electronic key; and performing a key additional registration process including obtaining the additional encryption key generation code from the second electronic key when identification information unique to the communication subject is stored in the second electronic key, generating the additional encryption key with an additional encryption key generation logic, and storing the additional encryption key in the controller.

A wireless communications system that regularly executes verification between an electronic key and an immobilizer ECU, and sends and receives deletion request signals unrelated to verification, between the electronic key and the immobilizer ECU. The sending and receiving of deletion request signals is executed at intervals between the regularly executed verifications.

A method for registering an electronic key to a controller of a communication subject includes locating an electronic key ID of a registered electronic key, which is registered to a first controller that was previously installed in the communication subject, based on a communication subject ID unique to the communication subject, and reregistering the registered electronic key to a second controller installed in the communication subject in lieu of the first controller by storing the electronic key ID of the registered electronic key and an encryption code corresponding to the electronic key ID in the second controller.

An electronic key registration system includes an electronic key device having a key ID. A controller having a first piece of information is arranged in a communication subject. A registration tool having a second piece of information is configured to write the key ID to the controller. The controller compares, before electronic key registration, the first piece of information and the second piece of information. The controller permits electronic key registration when the comparison indicates that the first piece of information and the second piece of information conform to each other and prohibits the electronic key registration when the comparison indicates that the first piece of information and the second piece of information do not conform to each other.

An electronic key registration system includes a controller of a communication subject, an initial electronic key that communicates with the communication subject and has an initial encryption key generation code, an additional electronic key that communicates with the communication subject, and an information center including an additional encryption key. The initial electronic key holds an initial encryption key generated from the initial encryption key generation code and a logic. The controller holds the logic and identification information of the communication subject. The controller acquires the initial encryption key generation code from the initial electronic key, generates an initial encryption key from the initial encryption key generation code and the logic held by the controller, and stores the initial encryption key. The information center sends the additional encryption key to the additional electronic key or the controller through a network.
