A power supply unit accommodates a main DC/DC converter and an AC charger (a charging circuit, a sub-DC/DC converter) in a housing. The main DC/DC converter and the sub-DC/DC converter are arranged in the same tier of the housing. The charging circuit is arranged in a tier different from that of the main DC/DC converter and the sub-DC/DC converter. The main DC/DC converter and the sub-DC/DC converter arranged in the same tier of the housing are controlled to operate in a mutually exclusive manner.

Power supply unit

A vehicle includes an electrical component electrically connected to a transmission path of supply electric power, a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the electrical component, a control device configured to suppress the supply electric power when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is equal to or higher than a threshold temperature, as compared with a case where the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is lower than the threshold temperature. The control device is configured to lower the threshold temperature when the external charging is executed again after the external charging is stopped, as compared with a case before the external charging is stopped.

Vehicle and charging method of vehicle

A power supply unit includes a current path, and is capable of receiving external power from an external power supply and supplying the received external power to a power storage device, and receiving power from the power storage device and supplying the received power to a device mounted in a vehicle. The power supply unit comprises one or more power converters, a relay that switches the current path, and a housing that accommodates the one or more power converters and the relay therein. The one or more power converters are heavier in weight than the relay and disposed in the housing below the relay.

A relay drive control device is configured to control drive of a relay for connecting a battery mounted on a vehicle and an external power supply. The relay drive control device includes a controller configured to, when driving the relay, supply an output voltage of the battery to the relay after increasing the output voltage to a voltage value at which the relay is drivable.

The vehicle is provided with a connecting member configured to connect an onboard device, a suspension member and a body frame. The connecting member includes a first fixture fixed to the suspension member, a second fixture located closer to the power storage device than the first fixture and fixed to the body frame, and a third fixture located between the first fixture and the second fixture and fixed to the onboard device. A section of the connecting member located between the first fixture and the second fixture is configured to bend downward when an external force is applied to the connecting member.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes: a battery; an inlet to which a charging connector provided external to the vehicle is connectable; a power receiving device configured to contactlessly receive power from a power transmitting device provided external to the vehicle; a connector electrically connected to the inlet and the power receiving device; and a connector electrically connected to the power receiving device and the battery. Power supplied to the inlet is supplied to the battery via the connector, the power receiving device, and the connector.

A power reception device includes a coil; an electric unit electrically connected to the coil; and a metal case that is disposed to be adjacent to the coil and accommodates the electric unit. The electric unit includes at least one active element. The metal case includes an a inner-side wall adjacent to the coil, and an outer-side wall that is positioned on the opposite side of the coil from the inner-side wall. The at least one active element is provided at a position closer to the outer-side wall than to the inner-side wall.

Power reception device and power transmission device

In a power receiving device, a module including a power receiving unit, a transformer, a filter circuit and a rectifier circuit includes a coil and a capacitor. An alternating-current power supply unit is configured to be able to supply alternating current to the power receiving device on a side closer to the power receiving unit than a relay. A vehicle electronic control unit is configured to, when alternating current is supplied from the alternating-current power supply unit in a case where the relay is turned off, detect whether there is an abnormality in at least one of the coil or the capacitor on the basis of a detected value of a current sensor.

Power receiving device

An electrically powered vehicle is provided with a vehicle body having a bottom surface, a battery disposed inside the vehicle body, a power receiving device configured to receive electrical power in a non-contact manner from a power transmission coil of a power transmission device disposed outside the vehicle body when facing the power transmission coil, and an electrical apparatus electrically connected to the power receiving device and the battery for supplying power received from the power receiving device to the battery. The power receiving device includes a power receiving coil disposed on the bottom surface of the vehicle body, and a capacitor disposed inside the vehicle body and electrically connected to the power receiving coil and the electrical apparatus. Thereby, the impact of heat on the capacitor included in the power receiving device can be suppressed.
