A dust collector () is provided with a tank section () and a head section (). The tank section () has a dust collection chamber () for containing dust. The head section () has a motor () and a dust collection fan (). The dust collection chamber () has a cylindrical filter device () which, when air sucked in from the suction opening () flows through the filter device (), separates dust from the air. A passage member () forms an air passage by which the outside air and a filter interior space () inside the filter device () are connected without having the filter device () therebetween. A cover body () closes the passage member () in an openable manner. The passage member () has first opening sections () facing the filter interior space () and located at different positions in the circumferential direction of the filter device ().

Dust collector

To provide a dust collector which, even when it is used in a poor power supply situation, can detect the dust loading of a filter accurately, can remove dust automatically and can reduce power consumption. In the dust collector, there is provided a control circuit which can detect the dust loading of a filter by comparing the threshold value of the dust loading pressure to be determined by the internal pressure of the filter, the operation of a suction device, the power supply frequency of the suction device and the supply voltage of the suction device with the filter internal pressure just before the suction device stops, and, when the filter is dust loaded, can operate a dust removing device.

A dust collection device has a tank, a suction unit, a filtering unit, a dust removal unit, a first detection unit, and a control unit. The tank has an air inlet for accommodating dust. The suction unit aspirates the dust through the air inlet. The filtering unit captures the dust through the air inlet. The dust removal unit removes the dust from the filtering unit. The first detection unit detects an operational state of the suction unit. The control unit controls the suction unit and the dust removal unit. The control unit activates the dust removal unit, when the first detection unit detects that the suction unit operates for a first predetermined time period and then stops operating.

Dust collection device

A dust collector includes: a motor functioning as a driving source; a drive unit for driving a motor; a dust collection fan rotated by the motor; a head section for accommodating the dust collection fan; a switch provided on the head section to control the starting of the motor; a tank section located below the head section, for accommodating dust conveyed by the dust collection fan, the tank section having a connecting portion; a duct hose having one end and the other end, the one end attached to the connecting portion, the other end being detachable from a portion of a power tool; a remote-control transmitter for transmitting a signal; and a remote-control receiver for receiving the signal from the remote-control transmitter to control the drive unit to start or stop the motor.
