A liquid crystal display panel includes: a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix; a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of transistors provided in each of the plurality of pixels; and a scanning line connected to the plurality of transistors in each of the plurality of pixels arranged in a first direction. In each of the plurality of pixels, the plurality of pixel electrodes and the plurality of transistors are arranged in the first direction.

Liquid crystal display panel

Provided is a display panel including: a plurality of pixel electrodes divided into a plurality of groups; and a plurality of common electrodes arranged at a ratio of one to a plurality of pixel electrodes included in one of the plurality of groups. Each of a plurality of sensor electrode lines overlaps with corresponding one of a plurality of data signal lines in plan view. The plurality of sensor electrode lines and each of the plurality of common electrodes overlap each other in plan view. The each of the plurality of common electrodes is electrically connected to the plurality of sensor electrode lines. At least one insulating film is formed between each of a region between the data signal lines and the sensor electrode lines, a region between the sensor electrode lines and the common electrodes, and a region between the common electrodes and the pixel electrodes.

An in-cell touch panel includes: common electrodes arranged in a first direction and a second direction, respectively facing one or more of pixel electrodes and provided separately from each other; and touch lines that extend along the second direction and are each connected to a corresponding one of the common electrodes. Each common electrode has segment electrodes divided with an area on the gate line as a division area, and each segment electrode included in one of the common electrodes is connected by at least one of the touch lines.

In-cell touch panel

An in-cell touch panel includes: transistors and pixel electrodes respectively provided in pixels; common electrodes arranged in a first direction and a second direction, each facing one or more of the pixel electrodes and provided separately from each other; gate lines extending along the first direction; data lines extending along the second direction; dummy data lines extending along the second direction, provided in a same layer as the data lines; and touch lines extending along the second direction and connected to a corresponding one of common electrodes. The data lines and the dummy data lines are alternately provided for boundaries between two pixels adjacent in the first direction.

A liquid crystal display device includes: transistors and pixel electrodes respectively provided in each pixels; common electrode facing the pixel electrodes; gate lines extending along the first direction and supplying gate signals to the transistors, respectively; gate lead lines extending in the second direction and each connected to a corresponding gate line at at least one of a plurality of intersections with the gate lines; data lines extending along the second direction and supplying data signals to the transistors respectively; and common lines extending along the second direction and connected to the common electrode. In a planar view, each of the common lines and each of the gate lead lines overlap partially.

Liquid crystal display device

A liquid crystal display device includes: transistors and pixel electrodes respectively provided in pixels; a common electrode facing the pixel electrodes; gate lines extending along the first direction and supplying gate signals to the transistors respectively; gate lead lines extending along the second direction and respectively connected to the gate lines at at least one of a plurality of intersections between the gate lead lines and the gate lines; and data lines extending along the second direction and supplying data signals to the transistors respectively. The pixels are made up of a plurality of types of pixels arranged periodically and repeatedly along the first direction, the data lines and the gate lead lines are formed in a same layer, and either of the data lines and the gate lead lines are alternatively provided for boundaries between two pixels adjacent in the first direction.

An image quality improving member comprising: a uniaxial anisotropic optical lens having a refractive index distribution in a first direction orthogonal to an optical axis of incident light, the optical lens condensing light vibrating in the first direction in the incident light; a translucent first substrate in which a black matrix including a plurality of first openings transmitting light output from the optical lens is formed; and a first polarizing plate disposed on the first substrate, the first polarizing plate having an absorption axis in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction when viewed from a direction of the optical axis.

Image quality improving member and liquid crystal display device

A liquid crystal display panel includes: thin film transistors provided in corresponding one of pixels and including a gate electrode, a source electrode, a drain electrode, and a semiconductor layer; a scanning line formed in a layer identical to that of the gate electrode and electrically connected to the gate electrode; and a first light shielding body formed in a layer identical to that of at least one of the source electrode and the drain electrode. The semiconductor layer is formed above the scanning line with an insulating layer interposed between the semiconductor layer and the scanning line, the first light shielding body is located above the scanning line and beside the semiconductor layer, and the first light shielding body and the scanning line are connected to each other through a contact hole made in the insulating layer.

A display device includes: pixel transistors electrically connected to the respective source lines and the respective gate lines; a monitor transistor in which a lead-out wiring of a drain electrode is electrically connected to a first external terminal, a lead-out wiring of a gate electrode is electrically connected to a second external terminal, and a lead-out wiring of a source electrode is electrically connected to a third external terminal; a reference transistor in which a lead-out wiring of a drain electrode is electrically connected to a fourth external terminal, a lead-out wiring of a gate electrode is electrically connected to a fifth external terminal, and a lead-out wiring of a source electrode is electrically connected to a sixth external terminal; and a detector electrically connected to the third external terminal and the sixth external terminal to detect a shift amount of a threshold voltage of the monitor transistor.

Display device

A liquid crystal display panel includes: a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix; a pixel electrode provided in each of the plurality of pixels; and a plurality of pairs of first video signal lines and second video signal lines provided at each boundary between two pixels adjacent to each other in a first direction. The plurality of pairs of the first video signal lines and the second video signal lines extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. At least a part of the pixel electrode exists between the first video signal line and the second video signal line.

A display device is provided. The display device comprises a plurality of data lines extending in a first direction. The display device also comprises a plurality of gate lines. The plurality of gate lines comprises a first gate line, a second gate line and a third gate line extending in a second direction different than the first direction to form a matrix with the plurality of data lines. The first gate line and the second gate line are separated from each other and are arranged in a same row of the matrix. The display device further comprises a first gate connector line and a second gate connector line, respectively, electrically connecting the first gate line and the second gate line to one or two gate drivers. The first gate connector line and the second gate connector line extend in the first direction.

A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate formed with a first gate line, a first source line, a first thin film transistor including a first channel region and a first semiconductor layer, and a second semiconductor layer electrically insulated from the first semiconductor layer, a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, and a first liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The second semiconductor layer is disposed between the first thin film transistor and the first liquid crystal layer, and overlaps at least a part of the first channel region of the first thin film transistor in planar view.
