A lighting apparatus includes light emitting elements having an emission peak wavelength of 400 to 510 nm, a first phosphor having an emission peak wavelength of 485 to 700 nm, a second phosphor having an emission peak wavelength of 510 to 590 nm, a third phosphor having an emission peak wavelength of 600 to 700 nm, and a color filter having transmittance for light with a wavelength of 600 to 730 nm that is 80% or more and transmittance for light with a wavelength of 410 to 480 nm that is 3% or more and 50% or less. The color filter transmits a part of light emitted from the first phosphor, at least a part of light emitted from the second phosphor, and at least a part of light emitted from the third phosphor. Light transmitted through the color filter is emitted to the outside.

Lighting apparatus

A light emitting module includes a light source, a light guide member, and first and second light reflective members. The light guide member is configured to transmit light from the light source. The light guide member having an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface. The first light reflective member is arranged on a lower surface side of the light guide member. The first light reflective member has a lower surface. The first light reflective member includes a first resin, and a first reflective body having a refractive index higher than a refractive index of the first resin. The second light reflective member is arranged on a lower surface side of the first light reflective member. The second light reflective member includes a second resin, and a second reflective body having a refractive index lower than a refractive index of the second resin.

Light emitting module and planar light source

A light-emitting module includes: a light source; a light guide plate including an upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface being at a side opposite to the upper surface, the light guide plate being configured to guide light from the light source; a wavelength conversion sheet located at an upper surface side of the light guide plate; a first light-reflective member located at a lower surface side of the light guide plate, the first light-reflective member including: a first resin member, and a first reflector, where a refractive index of the first reflector is lower than a refractive index of the first resin member; and a second light-reflective member located at a lower surface side of the first light-reflective member, wherein the second light-reflective member includes: a second resin member, and a second reflector, where a refractive index of the second reflector is higher than a refractive index of the second resin member.

Light-emitting module and planar light source

A light-emitting device includes: a set of layers including (i) a light-transmissive member having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a lateral surface contiguous with the top surface and the bottom surface, (ii) a first phosphor layer disposed below the bottom surface, and (iii) a dielectric multilayer film between the light-transmissive member and the first phosphor layer; a cover layer disposed on a lateral surface of the set of layers; and a light-emitting element disposed below the first phosphor layer. The light-emitting element emits blue light. The first phosphor layer absorbs at least a portion of the blue light and emits yellow-red to red light. The cover layer is either: a second phosphor layer that absorbs at least a portion of the blue light emitted by the light-emitting element and emits yellow-red to red light, or a pigment layer that presents yellow-red to red light.

Light-emitting device

A illumination device comprises an excitation light source, a first fluorescent material that converts the wavelength of light emitted from the excitation light source and emits light having a light emission peak wavelength in a range of 780 nm or more and 1,600 nm or less, and a cut filter that blocks light in a wavelength range of 870 nm or less, wherein the first fluorescent material contains a fluorescent material having a composition of rare earth aluminate containing Ce and Nd.

Illumination device and infrared camera-equipped illumination device

The red light-emitting device includes a light source, a first layer covering at least a portion of the light source and containing a fluoride phosphor converting light emitted from the light source, and a second layer covering at least a portion of the first layer and containing a nitride phosphor converting light emitted from the light source and/or the first layer. An emission intensity ratio at an emission peak wavelength of the light source is greater than 0 and 0.1 or less, and the emission intensity ratio at the wavelength of the maximum emission peak in an emission spectrum of the light-emitting device is greater than 2.8, supposing the reference emission intensity that is the minimum emission intensity within the range of plus or minus 15 nm or 30 nm from the wavelength of the maximum emission peak in the emission spectrum of the light-emitting device is 1.

Light emitting device

A light-emitting module includes: a light source; a light guide plate including an upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface being at a side opposite to the upper surface, the light guide plate being configured to guide light from the light source; a first light-reflective member located at a lower surface side of the light guide plate, wherein the first light-reflective member includes: a first resin member, and a first reflector, wherein a refractive index of the first reflector is lower than a refractive index of the first resin member; and a second light-reflective member located at a lower surface side of the first light-reflective member, wherein the second light-reflective member includes: a second resin member, and a second reflector, wherein a refractive index of the second reflector is higher than a refractive index of the second resin member.

A light-emitting device includes a package having a recessed portion defined by a bottom surface and lateral walls surrounding the bottom surface, first and second light-emitting elements aligned in the longitudinal direction on the bottom surface, and a wavelength conversion member in the recessed portion, the wavelength conversion member converting light from the first light-emitting element. The first and second light-emitting elements each have a polygonal shape other than a rectangular shape in a front view. The first and second light-emitting elements are disposed away from each other so that a longest side of each light-emitting element will be substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bottom surface and so that sides facing each other will be substantially parallel to each other. The wavelength conversion member is disposed at least in a region on the bottom surface between the first and second light-emitting elements.

Light-emitting device and backlight

A light emitting element includes a light emitting element having a first face on which a first electrode and a second electrode are provided. A wavelength converting material covers a whole of the light emitting element except for the first face such that a surface of the wavelength converting material and the first face constitute a substantially flat plane. A first electrically conductive material is provided on the first face and the surface of the wavelength converting material to be electrically connected to the first electrode. A second electrically conductive material is provided on the first face and the surface of the wavelength converting material to be electrically connected to the second electrode. An insulating member is disposed on the first electrically conductive material, the second electrically conductive material, and the first face between the first electrode and the second electrode.

Light emitting device encapsulated above electrodes

A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element having a top surface, a bottom surface opposite to the top surface, and side surfaces connecting the top surface and the bottom surface. An element electrode of the light-emitting element is located on the bottom surface. A phosphor layer is disposed above the top surface of the light-emitting element and having side surfaces. A reflective member covers side surfaces of the light-emitting element and side surfaces of the phosphor layer. A dielectric multilayer film is disposed on at least one of the side surfaces of the light-emitting element and disposed on at least one of the side surfaces of the phosphor layer and not located between the light emitting element and the phosphor layer. The dielectric multilayer film is not provided on an upper surface of the phosphor layer.

Light-emitting device having a dielectric multilayer film arranged on the side surface of the light-emitting element

A method of manufacturing a light-emitting device includes steps of: preparing at least one first member each including (i) a light-transmissive member having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a lateral surface contiguous with the top surface and the bottom surface, (ii) a phosphor layer disposed below the bottom surface, and (iii) a cover layer disposed on a lateral surface of the phosphor layer and the lateral surface of the light-transmissive member; and, for each of the at least one first member, mounting a light-emitting element on a base having a fat plate shape, bonding the light-emitting element and the phosphor layer of the first member together, placing a frame body on the base so as to surround the light-emitting element, and filling a light-reflective member in the frame body so that the light-reflective member covers at least a portion of the cover layer of the first member.

Method of manufacturing light-emitting device

A light emitting device includes a light-transmissive member including a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and third surfaces connected to the first surface and the second surface. A phosphor layer faces the second surface of the light-transmissive member. A reflective member faces side surfaces of the phosphor layer and the third surfaces of the light-transmissive member. The light-emitting element has a top surface facing the phosphor layer, a bottom surface opposite to the top surface, and side surfaces connecting the top surface and the bottom surface. The phosphor layer has a bonding surface facing the light emitting element. A first dielectric multilayer film is arranged on at least one of side surfaces of the light-emitting element without being provided on the bonding surface of the phosphor layer.

Light-emitting device and method for manufacturing the light-emitting device having a first dielectric multilayer film arranged on the side surface of the light emitting element

A method for manufacturing a light emitting device includes disposing on lateral surfaces of the light emitting element, a first wavelength converting member containing a first phosphor to convert the first light emitted from the light emitting element into a second light having a second peak wavelength longer than the first peak wavelength. The light emitting element provided with the first wavelength converting member is disposed on a base. A second wavelength converting member is disposed on the base. The second wavelength converting member covers an upper surface of the light emitting element provided with the first wavelength converting member and lateral surfaces of the first wavelength converting member provided opposite to additional lateral surfaces of the first wavelength converting member. The additional lateral surfaces face the lateral surface of the light emitting element. The second wavelength converting member contains a second phosphor.
