The vehicle may include an electric power control unit configured to supply electric power to a motor. The vehicle may comprise a rear bracket located behind the electric power control unit and fixing the electric power control unit to the power unit. The vehicle may comprise a cable configured to supply high voltage electric power to the electric power control unit. The rear bracket may comprise a plate-shaped base portion and a support portion, the base portion is located along an upper surface of the power unit, and the support portion extends upward from the base portion and is located along a rear surface of the electric power control unit. An outer peripheral edge of the base portion may include a first specific edge that extends along a vehicle width direction and opposes the cable in the vehicle front-rear direction. The first specific edge may be curled or chamfered.

Vehicle

A belt molding attachment structure includes an outer panel and a belt molding. The belt molding includes a main body part, an end member, and a weather strip. The main body part has a U-shaped cross-section. The end member is attached to an end part of the main body part, and includes a locking part on a lower side. The weather strip protrudes toward a vehicle width center side in a vehicle width direction from the main body part. The outer panel includes a flat part. The locking part includes a tip part, is configured to be elastically deformed in the extending direction of the main body part, and is adjacent to at least one of edges of the flat part in the extending direction of the main body part. The tip part of the locking part abuts against a lower surface of the flat part.

Belt molding attachment structure

In a suspension tower plate, in a plate body that is made of a sheet metal and is a part of an upper wall portion of a suspension tower, three suspension fixing portions are disposed. Three suspension fixing portions fix to an upper end part of a suspension. Further, in the plate body, a bend portion is disposed on an outer periphery side of the three suspension fixing portions. In the suspension fixing portion and the bend portion like this, strain is likely to be generated by an upward load that is input from the suspension. However, in the suspension tower plate, the suspension fixing portion and the bend portion thick portions are disposed. Thick portions are thicker than the plate body.

An adhesion flange structure includes: a first flange extending along and formed to an end portion of a first vehicle body panel with an interposing bend portion; a second flange formed to an end portion of a second vehicle body panel configuring a section of a vehicle body together with the first vehicle body panel, the second flange formed facing the bend portion and the first flange; an adhesive that adheres the bend portion and the first flange to the second flange; a ridge projection portion formed extending along the direction the first flange extends along the end portion of the first vehicle body panel, and formed to at least one portion out of the bend portion and a facing portion of the second flange that faces the bend portion, the ridge projection portion forming a projection towards the opposing side out of the bend portion and the facing portion.

Adhesion flange structure

In a panel joint structure, a first joint portion and first load transfer portions are formed on an end portion of a first panel, and a second joint portion and second load transfer portions are formed on an end portion of a second panel. A first joint surface of the first joint portion and a second joint surface of the second joint portion are welded and adhered to each other, and first load transfer surfaces of the first load transfer portions and second load transfer surfaces of the second load transfer portions are adhered to each other. The first load transfer surfaces are contained in the range of the plate thickness of a first panel body portion, and the second load transfer surfaces are contained in the range of the plate thickness of a second panel body portion.

Panel joint structure

A vehicle tip-up seat wherein the seat includes a seat back having a front surface, a seat portion having an upper surface and a lower surface. The seat portion is pivotally mounted to the seat back at a first pivot point. An elongated support member extends generally perpendicular to and spaced apart from the lower surface of the seat portion. The elongated support member is fixed to the lower surface of the seat portion. At least one support bracket extends between the elongated support member and the lower surface of the seat portion to support the seat in the event of a crash as seat portion rotates downward. The seat further includes a cushioning foam fully covering the support bracket, the seat portion and the elongated support member.

Tip-up seat with concealed support structure

An occupant determining device includes a load detecting sensor provided on a seat body and a controller. The controller calculates a detected load value based on an output value of the load detecting sensor and performs occupant determination based on the detected load value. The occupant determination state is switched to an adult determination state when a certain delaying time elapses after the detected load value exceeds a determination threshold. The controller sets plural determination thresholds, and the larger each determination threshold being exceeded by the detected load value is, the shorter the delaying time is set.

Occupant determining device

An occupant determination device for a vehicle seat includes a load sensor provided at a seat body, a controller for calculating a detection load value based on a load value output from the load sensor and for determining an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat by comparing the detection load value and a predetermined threshold value, a determining means for determining whether or not a child restraint system is equipped on the vehicle seat based on a variation of the detection load value and a detecting means for detecting whether or not the vehicle is stopped. When a vehicle stop condition is not detected by the detecting means, the determining means does not determine whether or not the child restraint system is equipped on the seat.
