This electrical storage device comprises: an electrode body; a bottomed cylindrical outer can; a sealing plate to which a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal are attached; and a functional part placed near the positive electrode terminal or the negative electrode terminal on the inner surface of the sealing plate. The electrode body has a positive electrode tab group for which a plurality of positive electrode tabs are laminated, and a negative electrode tab group for which a plurality of negative electrode tabs are laminated, and each tab group functions as a spring that connects the electrode body and the sealing plate. Of the positive electrode tab group and the negative electrode tab group, the spring constant of one tab group near the functional part is greater than the spring constant of the other tab group.

A negative electrode having a negative electrode collector; and a negative-electrode mixed material layer that is formed atop the negative electrode collector. The negative-electrode mixed material layer includes: a first layer which contains a first carbon-based active material, a silicon-based active material, a polyacrylic acid, or a salt thereof, the first layer being formed atop the negative electrode collector; and a second layer having a tap density greater than that of the first carbon-based active material and a BET specific surface area smaller than that of the first carbon-based active material. The mass of the first layer is at least 50 mass % but less than 90 mass % with respect to the mass of the negative-electrode mixed material layer, and the mass of the second layer is greater than 10 mass % but no more than 50 mass % with respect to the mass of the negative-electrode mixed material layer.

A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a negative electrode mixture layer formed on a negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode mixture layer includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer is formed on the negative electrode current collector and includes a negative electrode active material and a first binding agent. The negative electrode active material in the first layer includes a carbon material A and a Si-containing compound. The second layer is formed on the first layer and includes a negative electrode active material and a second binding agent. The negative electrode active material in the second layer includes a carbon material B. The carbon material B has a tap density higher than a tap density of the carbon material A. A packing density of the second layer is lower than a packing density of the first layer.

Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery

The aim of the present invention is to provide a phosphate treated zinc coated steel sheet with excellent workability. A steel sheet coated with a zinc based alloy has a phosphate treated coating on the surface thereof. The phosphate treated coating comprises mainly granulated crystals, specifically, crystals in which the average ratio of the major axis to the minor axis is not less than 1.00 and not more than 2.90. Moreover, the method for producing the phosphate treated coating uses a phosphate treatment solution in which the amount of Mg ions is &gE;6 g/l and the amount of Zn ions is &gE;0.5 g/l, or a phosphate treatment solution in which the amount of Mg ions is &gE;10 g/l, the amount of Zn ions is 0&lE; and <0.5 g/l, and the amount of nitric acid ions is &gE;40 g/l. Moreover, the phosphate treated zinc coated steel sheet also has excellent corrosion resistance as the amount of Mg in the phosphate treated coating is not less than 10 mg/m , and has excellent weldability as the coating amount is controlled to 0.5 to 3.0 g/m .

Zinc-based metal plated steel sheet treated with phosphate being excellent in formability and method for production thereof

The present invention has an object to provide a surface-treated steel sheet which has highly balanced corrosion resistance and formability, and satisfies fundamental properties required mainly for steel sheets for automobile body, and a manufacturing method thereof. The surface-treated steel sheet of the invention is excellent in corrosion resistance and formability, comprising an amorphous inorganic film containing at least 5% magnesium and having a weight within a range of from 0.1 to 2.0 g/m , formed on the surface of a zinc or zinc alloy plated steel sheet; wherein the inorganic film is soluble in an acidic solution and hardly soluble in a neutral or alkaline solution, and a manufacturing method thereof is provided. A zinc phosphate film may be provided between the galvanized steel sheet and the amorphous inorganic film. The inorganic film should preferably comprise one or more selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, phosphates, biphosphates, various condensed phosphoric acids, various condensed phosphates, organic phosphoric acid, and organic phosphates.
