A handrail disinfection system for vehicle with handrail is mounted on a vehicle having handrail for grasping by an occupant. The handrail disinfection system includes a tank to store disinfectant solution, an exudation part provided on the handrail, an actuator for exuding the disinfectant solution stored in the tank from the exudation part, and a controller for controlling the actuator. At least one processor included in the controller executes upon execution of at least one program, performing a disinfecting process in which the actuator is controlled to exude the disinfectant solution from the exudation part to a surface of the handrail when a predetermined execution condition is satisfied.

A vehicle equipped with a plurality of omni-directional wheels includes a grounding part that supports the vehicle by grounding to a ground surface, a moving mechanism to protrude the grounding part from the bottom of the vehicle toward the ground surface, and a controller for controlling the moving mechanism so as to ground said grounding part to the ground surface. A guidance vehicle guides a dog for a walk, and includes a leash attachment, a distance sensor, and an electronic control unit. The leash attachment is configured to attach a leash that connects the dog. The distance sensor is configured to detect a dog-to-vehicle distance being a distance between the dog and the guidance vehicle. The electronic control unit is configured to execute a travel control of the guidance vehicle. The electronic control unit includes, as one of modes of the travel control, a walk guidance mode that causes the guidance vehicle to automatically travel along a walk route while guiding the dog to walk. The walk guidance mode executed by the electronic control unit includes a basic walk mode that controls the dog-to-vehicle distance so as to maintain a constant distance when the dog is moving along the walk route.

A vehicle includes a charging unit receiving electric power supplied from an external power supply through a power feeding cable connected to an inlet for charging a power storage device; a discharging unit for supplying electric power from the power storage device to the power feeding cable through the inlet; a discharge relay; and a charge relay. When ending a discharging operation, an ECU outputs an opening instruction to the discharge relay and determines based on the state of a power line during output of the opening instruction whether the discharge relay is welded or not. When starting the discharging operation, the ECU outputs a closing instruction to the discharge relay and does not determine during output of the closing instruction whether the discharge relay is welded or not.

Energy management system

A support arm includes a bracket supported by a support, a bracket arranged away from the bracket, a parallel link arranged between the bracket and the bracket and coupled pivotally to the bracket and the bracket, and a self-weight compensation device producing a force that cancels a force of gravity acting on the parallel link. The parallel link has an upper shaft and a lower shaft arranged in parallel to each other with spacing, the spacing being changed with a pivoting movement of the parallel link. The upper shaft and the lower shaft are arranged offset with respect to each other in a direction of an axis on which the parallel link is pivoted. With such a structure, a support arm for which a large movable range is achieved is provided.

Support arm

A support arm supports a charge connector which can be connected to a vehicle. The support arm includes a parallelogram linkage provided in a freely swingable manner, a gravity compensation apparatus for generating force canceling gravity acting on the parallelogram linkage, and a charge connector having a support shaft insertion portion supported by the parallelogram linkage and provided to be rotatable around the support shaft insertion portion. The support shaft insertion portion is arranged at a position of the center of gravity of the charge connector. According to such a construction, a support arm appropriately exhibiting a gravity compensation function can be provided.
