A laser projection method including the steps of: irradiating, from a laser projection unit, a workpiece that is a measurement object, with a laser while controlling a plurality of mirror angles; imaging the workpiece with a stereo camera, extracting a contour of the workpiece, and calculating a three-dimensional coordinate; calculating a positional relationship between the laser projection unit and the workpiece by comparing the calculated three-dimensional coordinate of the workpiece contour with the minor angle; and performing coordinate transformation of CAD data information and drawing CAD data from the laser projection unit to the workpiece, based on the positional relationship between the laser projection unit and the workpiece. The machining method including the steps of: selecting a component of a tool; assembling the component; imaging the tool assembled; and determining whether or not a desired tool has been assembled.

Method and apparatus for laser projection, and machining method

In a conventional CAM apparatus, cutting regions and a tool axis angle by which the cutting time is minimized cannot be automatically set for a finish shape having a free formed surface shape. Accordingly, the CAM apparatus generates quadrangle-shaped patterns of cutting regions using coordinate data of a finish shape and an initial shape. Triangle-shaped cutting regions are generated for concave-convex faces of the finish shape. For cutting regions generated by subtraction by boolean operation with a subtract shape calculated by subtraction by boolean operation between the initial shape and the finish shape, the tool axis angle is set so that the tool does not interfere and the face is maximized. For other regions, the tool axis is set so as to satisfy a remainder standard and to minimize a tool path length.

Method and apparatus for a cutting process automatic generation tool of CAM

In order to easily verify an operation of the machine tool, a machining support apparatus includes a machining monitoring unit, a simulation processing unit, and a display unit. The machining monitoring unit, upon receiving a notification indicating detection of a simulation start code programmed in a machining program from a machine tool controller controlling a machine tool via a communication device, renders the machine tool controller to stop the machine tool. The simulation processing unitsimulates instructions from the simulation start code to a simulation end code in the machining program, while the machine tool is stopped. And the display unitdisplays a simulation performed in the simulation processing unit.
