A coating device coats a to-be-coated object including a recessed portion extending in a first direction. The coating device includes a head, an arm, and a controller. The head includes a nozzle surface. The arm holds the head. The controller controls movement of the head via the arm. The controller moves the head in the first direction while causing the nozzle surface and the recessed portion to face each other in a posture in which a length of a first component along the first direction of the head is larger than a length of a second component of the head intersecting the first component.

Coating device, coating film, and coating method

A circulation device according to an aspect includes a storage unit for storing liquid and a liquid droplet discharge unit for discharging liquid, and controls circulation of liquid flowing through a channel communicating the storage unit and the liquid droplet discharge unit with each other. Such a circulation device includes a robotic portion, a first pressure portion, a second pressure portion, a first valve portion, and a second valve portion. The robotic portion is mounted with the liquid droplet discharge unit. The first pressure portion feeds the liquid stored in the storage unit to the liquid droplet discharge unit through a first channel communicating the storage unit and the liquid droplet discharge unit with each other. The second pressure portion feeds the liquid recovered in the liquid droplet discharge unit to the storage unit through a second channel communicating the storage unit and the liquid droplet discharge unit with each other. The first valve portion is interposed between the first pressure portion and the liquid droplet discharge unit. The second valve portion is interposed between the second pressure portion and the liquid droplet discharge unit.

Circulation device

A liquid ejecting device includes a flow path member, an actuator, a pump, and a controller. The flow path member includes a flow path configured to direct flow of a pseudoplastic liquid through the flow path member. The actuator is configured to cause droplets to be ejected. The pump is configured to cause the liquid to flow sequentially through a supply reservoir, a plurality of supply manifolds, a plurality of supply flow paths, and a plurality of pressure chambers. The controller is configured to adjust a flow rate of the liquid to a prescribed target flow rate. The flow path has a flow path shape in which an average viscosity of the liquid in the plurality of supply flow paths is less than or equal to half an average viscosity of the liquid in the plurality of supply manifolds when the flow rate is equal to the target flow rate.

Liquid ejecting device and liquid ejecting method

A coating device includes a head, a wiping mechanism, an arm, and a controller. The head includes a nozzle surface for discharging a coating material. The wiping mechanism wipes the nozzle surface. The arm holds the head. The controller controls movement of the head via the arm. The controller relatively moves the head with respect to the wiping mechanism to wipe the nozzle surface.

Coating device and wiping method

A circulation device includes first and second valves, first and second pressure measuring portions, a detection unit, and a controller. The first valve controls the flow rate of a liquid from a storage to a droplet discharge unit. The second valve controls the flow rate of the liquid from the droplet discharge unit to the storage. The first pressure measuring portion measures the fluid pressure of the liquid flowing between the first valve and the droplet discharge unit as a supply pressure. A liquid ejection head includes a plurality of pressurizing chambers connected to a plurality of ejection holes, a plurality of first individual flow paths connected to the plurality of pressurizing chambers, a plurality of second individual flow paths and a plurality of third individual flow paths, a first common flow path is connected in common to the plurality of first and plurality of second individual flow paths, and a second common flow path is connected in common to the plurality of third individual flow paths. The first and second individual flow paths are connected to the same pressurizing chamber, the first individual flow path is connected to the first common flow path in an opening end portion, compared to the second individual flow path. The first individual flow path is located opposite to a side where the ejection hole is open outward, compared to the second individual flow path.

Liquid ejection head and recording apparatus

A liquid ejection head includes a plurality of pressurizing chambers connected to a plurality of ejection holes, a plurality of first individual flow paths connected to the plurality of pressurizing chambers, a plurality of second individual flow paths and a plurality of third individual flow paths, a first common flow path is connected in common to the plurality of first and second individual flow paths, and a second common flow path is connected in common to the plurality of third individual flow paths. The present invention provides a liquid discharge head that causes less deviation in a discharge direction of a liquid from a direction orthogonal to a discharge hole surface, and a recording device using the liquid discharge head. The liquid discharge head of the present invention includes a discharge hole, a discharge hole surface having an opening of the discharge hole, a pressurizing chamber, and a flow channel connecting the discharge hole and the pressurizing chamber. The flow channel includes a nozzle part and a partial flow channel.

Liquid discharge head and recording device using the same

A liquid ejecting head and a recording device are disclosed. The liquid ejecting head includes a fluid channel member and compressing members. The fluid channel member is elongated in a first direction. The fluid channel member includes ejection holes, compression chambers and a manifold. The compressing members is bonded to the fluid channel member. The manifold includes: a length extending in the first direction; openings at the first and second end portions of the fluid channel member; and secondary manifolds divided by one or more partitions that are elongated in the first direction. The compression chambers connected to one of the secondary manifolds configure two compression chamber rows disposed along the secondary manifolds, and the compression chambers belonging to the two compression chamber rows do not overlap in the first direction with compression chambers belonging to compression chamber rows adjacent to the two compression chamber rows.
