A golf club head includes a face section, a crown section, a sole section, a heel section, and a toe section. A hollow section separated from the outside is formed inside the golf club head. The face section includes, on a back surface, a first thick section, a second thick section and a thin section thinner than the first thick section and the second thick section and disposed so as to surround the entire periphery of the first thick section and the entire periphery of the second thick section. The first thick section has a first portion disposed at the center in both the toe, and a second portion protruding from a part at the center of the first portion in the longitudinal direction toward the crown section.

Golf club head

An iron golf club head includes a head member having a lace surface and a back surface located opposite to the face surface, and a badge member having an opposed surface facing the back surface and connected to the back surface and an exposed surface located opposite to the back surface the opposed surface and exposed to the outside. The badge member includes a resin plate having the opposed surface and made of a resin material, and a metal plate having the exposed surface and made of a metal material. The resin plate is provided with a plurality of recesses recessed toward the opposed surface. The plurality of recesses are arranged side by side in a toe-to-heel direction. The ratio V/S of a volume V (unit: mm) of the badge member to an area S (unit: mm) of the opposed surface is 4.0 or more and 10.0 or less.

Iron golf club head

A golf club head according to an embodiment includes a face having a ball striking surface and a back surface. The back surface of the face has a thick portion located at a generally center portion thereof in a direction from the toe toward the heel, a thin portion located around the thick portion, and a tapered portion located between the thick portion and the thin portion. The thick portion has a first width which is a width in a heel-toe direction, and a second width which is a width in a sole-top direction and is larger than the first width, and the thick portion also has a first thickness. The thin portion has a second thickness smaller than the first thickness. The tapered portion has a thickness reduced from the side of the thick portion toward the side of the thin portion.
