A magnetic device may include a coil wound body having a first coil winding face and a second coil winding face in an axial direction, a coil wound around the first coil winding face and the second coil winding face, and a coil winding start part and a coil winding end part arranged on an opposite side to the second coil winding face with respect to the first coil winding face. The coil is wound around the first coil winding face by an odd number of layer(s) from the winding start part and then the coil is wound around the second coil winding face by an even number of layers in a reverse direction to the first coil winding face, and then the coil is wound around the first coil winding face by an odd number of layer(s) in a reverse direction to the second coil winding face. The magnetic device may be used in a lens drive device in which the coil wound body is a movable body having a lens.

Magnetic device and lens drive device

A lens driving device for use with a lens to photograph or image an object to be photographed or imaged may include a moving member holding the lens and made movable in the direction of an optical axis, and a supporting member for supporting the moving member through a spring member, wherein the lens is displaced and driven in the optical axis direction thereby to focus the image of the object. The supporting member may include a yoke having a cover portion having an entrance window for introducing the reflected light from the object into the lens, and a case portion for covering the outer circumference of the moving member. The cover portion and the case portion are formed integrally with each other.

Lens driving device

A lens driving apparatus is disclosed. The lends driving apparatus may include a movable body holding lenses, a fixed body in which the movable body is mounted and movably along the lens optical axis direction, and a drive mechanism that moves the movable body in the lens optical axis direction. The drive mechanism may be equipped with a coil that is held by the movable body or the fixed body, a magnet that is held by the other body of the movable body and the fixed boy, and a regulatory means that regulates the movement of the movable body which is induced by an electromagnetic force generated when current is passed through the coil. The coil may be opposed to the magnet in the lens optical direction.

A lens drive device may include a movable body movable in an optical axis direction, a support body supporting the movable body through a spring member which may include spring pieces electrically separated from each other, formed with a coil connecting part to which one of a winding start part and a winding end part of the coil is electrically connected. The movable body is provided with an accommodating part for accommodating the coil connecting part. The spring member may include a plate spring-shaped arm part connecting a support body side fixing part with a movable body side fixing part and the arm part is provided with a laser cut portion formed by a laser in a part of an edge part of the arm part. An edge part of the arm part except the laser cut portion may be a cut portion formed by press working or etching processing.

Lens drive device, spring member and manufacturing methods therefor

In the lens driving apparatus having a sleeve, a support body (such as a yoke) that supports the sleeve via a spring member), coils attached to the sleeve, and magnets attached to the support body, the support body is provided with a yoke and a cover portion, the yoke being formed with a light-entrance window for collecting light reflected from a subject and the cover portion being attached to the inside of the light-entrance window; the cover portion, the spring member, and the magnets are arranged so that they are layered in this order from the light-entrance window, and the cover portion is formed of a non-magnetic material.

A lens drive device may include a support body, a movable body having a lens, a magnetic drive mechanism for magnetically driving the movable body in a lens optical axis direction, and a spring member connected between the support body and the movable body. The magnetic drive mechanism includes a coil held by the movable body and both end parts of the coil are electrically connected to different spring pieces of the spring member through terminals. The support body includes an insulation member which holds the terminals, and each of the terminals includes an outside connecting terminal part which is located on an outer side of the insulation member, and a long elongated connecting part which is extended along an inner wall of the insulation member from the outside connecting terminal part and connected with the spring piece of the spring member.

A media processing device may include a frame with a transport passage in which information recording media are transported and a magnetic head for processing magnetic information signals on the information recording media. The magnetic head may be embedded in the frame and part of the frame may be interposed between the magnetic head and the transport passage.

A lens drive device may include a movable body, a support body supporting the movable body through a spring member, and a magnetic drive mechanism provided with a coil. The movable body includes a coil winding part, end parts for restricting a range of the coil winding part, and a changing part for changing a drawing direction of the coil. The spring member is disposed near the other end part of the movable body and electrically connected with winding start and winding end of the coil. A coil winding method for the lens drive device may include a drawing step in which a coil is drawn between end parts, a changing step in which a drawing direction of the coil is changed by the changing part, and a winding step in which the coil is wound around the coil winding part.

A lens driving apparatus and method may include a movable body holding lenses; a fixed body for supporting the movable body via a spring member to move in the optical axis direction; and a magnetic drive mechanism which has coils held by the movable body and which drives said movable body in the optical axis direction. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a disc clamping device includes a clamp body including a tip operating portion, wherein the tip operating portion moves downward by a depressed disc. The disc clamping device further includes an engagement body including an entry guide portion to guide the disc along the entry guide portion to a center location. When the clamp body is in an upward position, the uppermost surface of the clamp body is positioned to be the same height as an uppermost surface of the entry guide portion of the engagement body.

An automatic balancing apparatus may be mounted in a rotator body such as a spindle motor having a rotary shaft defining an axis of rotation. The automatic balancing apparatus has a plurality of balancing members rotatable about the axis of rotation in a non-contact manner. Each of the balancing members has a balance action section spaced a distance in a radial direction from the axis of rotation and a connection section that rotatably couples the balance action section to the axis of rotation. The balance action section has a mass that effects a balance correction action to cancel a rotational unbalance of the rotator body when the rotator body rotates at a rotational speed that exceeds a resonant rotational speed CR thereof. The connection section has a mass that substantially does not affect the balance correction action compared to the balance action section.

Automatic balancing apparatus

A cylindrical case provided with a chamber is coaxially attached to a rotary shaft of a motor. A plurality of balancers are movably provided within the chamber so as to cancel a rotation eccentricity of the motor. A viscous member such as high viscosity fluid is provided on at least one of the surfaces of the balancers and an inner face of the chamber.

Automatic equalizer

An automatic balancing apparatus which includes a support shaft which is rotated by a drive; a case body which is fixed to the support shaft and which rotates together with the support shaft; a ring magnet which is placed at the inside corner, in the radial direction, of an inner space of the case body; and a balancing member. The balancing member further includes a plurality of magnetic bodies which are movable in the inner space of the case body and which can be drawn up by the magnetic field of the ring magnet. When the rotational frequency of a rotor, which rotates together with the case body, exceeds the resonant frequency, the automatic balancing apparatus reduces vibrations of the rotor; and the outer circumference of the ring magnet has a flat portion.

A motor includes a stator core held on a core holder, the stator core includes a stacked magnetic body having a plurality of magnetic plates with the magnetic plates being piled up in an axial direction. The motor also includes a core support portion provided in the core holder with the core support portion including a core mounting face and a core locating face. The core locating face is formed near a magnetic center of the stator core with respect to the axial direction and formed flat in the core holder in a radial direction. The stacked magnetic body is divided into two stacked magnetic bodies with a boundary position of the two stacked magnetic bodies being set near the magnetic center of the stator core and the boundary surface of one of the two stacked bodies abuts against the core locating face of the core holder in the axial direction.

A shaft having a diameter A is press-fitted into the central hole of the boss. A tapered portion is formed around one end of the shaft, which is inserted to the center hole, such that a dimension in the extending direction of the shaft is R. The boss includes a cylindrical recess formed concentrically with the center hole on one end face thereof facing a side from which the shaft is inserted such that a dimension in the extending direction of the center hole thereof is larger than R, and such that a diameter thereof is A<B&lE;1.05A. The cylindrical recess includes a first side wall linearly extending from the end face of the boss and a second side wall subsequent to the first side wall, which is tapered inwardly in order to serve as an insertion guide member against which the tapered portion of the shaft is to be abutted when the shaft is inserted into the center hole. A wall member is formed on one end face of the boss so as to face the bearing with a gap having a predetermined width in between for blocking lubricant oil splashed from a sintered oil-contained bearing for supporting the shaft.
