A vehicle battery unit includes at least one first battery, at least one second battery, and a harness. The at least one first battery has a first battery connector. The at least one second battery has a second battery connector. A harness has harness connectors connected to the first battery connector and second battery connector. The harness holds the harness in such a manner that connecting portions of the harness connectors are directed toward a direction substantially perpendicular to a battery arranging direction in which the at least one first battery and the at least one second battery are arranged.

A seal structure includes a seal body. The seal body is sandwiched between a case and a cover and provided between a space and fastening regions. The space is formed by the case and the cover. The case and the cover is fastened at the fastening regions to compress the seal body in a compression direction. The seal body includes first regions and second regions. The first regions correspond to the fastening regions. Each of the second regions is provided between one of the first regions and another of the first regions. Reaction force in the compression direction in the seal body located at the first regions is smaller than reaction force in the compression direction in the seal body located in the second regions.

Seal structure and seal method

In a lock device of a sliding mechanism, a pair of locking claws provided on a moving member are brought into resilient engagement with locking grooves of a locking groove group, whereby downward sliding of the moving member is permitted but upward sliding thereof is locked. The distance between the locking claws is longer than distance between the locking grooves, so that the moving member becomes locked against upward sliding at an interval smaller than the distance between the locking grooves. Thus, the moving member adapted to slide in one (downward) direction along a guide rail can be reliably locked against movement in the opposite (upward) direction at a very small interval.
