The memory stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing unit, cause the apparatus to provide an application tool and a generation section. The application tool is configured to edit a print condition based on print functional information relating to print functions provided with a printer. The generation section is configured to generate print setting information including a first print condition and a second print condition. The generating section generates the first print condition in a form so as to be editable by the application tool and generates the second print condition including at least a part of the first print condition in a form so as not to be editable by the application tool. The print data producing section is configured to produce print data based on the print setting information including the first print condition that has been edited by the application tool and the second print condition.

A printing program can be executed by a processing apparatus connected to a printing apparatus including a recording head transfer section for reciprocating, in a main scanning direction, a recording head for discharging ink, and a recording medium transfer section for moving the recording medium in a sub-scanning direction. The program determines total movement distances of an image at angles relative to an original position according to a first movement distance by which the recording head would move in the main scanning direction from a start of movement of the recording head to an end of discharging the ink medium if printing were performed and a second movement distance by which the recording medium would move in the sub-scanning direction if printing were performed. The program causes the printing apparatus to print the image at the angular position of the image corresponding to the smallest total movement distance.

A storing medium includes a driver program installable on a host computer and a plurality of files. A print controlling device for transmitting printer controlling information to a printer connected thereto is configured such that print setting data is generated based on desired print settings which may include operational control setting data in accordance with a setting by a user. The print controlling device is capable of generating print data including the print setting data as header information thereof, and converting the print data to the printer controlling information. When the print data is converted, it is judged whether the print setting data included in the print data contains the operational control setting. If the print setting data includes the operational control setting, job controlling information which corresponds to the operational control setting is transmitted to the printer.

When a multi-page print instruction is issued, a data generation unit in the information-processing device sets a maximum number N for combining the pages to one sheet, determines the size and the orientation of the sheet to be fed to an image forming point in the image forming device, and reserves a data storing region in an image buffer for producing the printing image data. The data generation unit produces the printing image data having the same orientation as that of the sheet fed in the image forming device when combining the page. Therefore, a process for rotating the printing image data itself is not necessary.
