An insulating plate () made of synthetic resin for transferring heat transferred from conductors to nuts () to a heat sink () is provided with nut accommodating recesses () for accommodating the nuts (). Each nut accommodating recess () includes a bottom plate () to be sandwiched between the nuts () and the heat sink () and a surrounding wall () vertically extending from the bottom plate () to surround the side surface of the nut (). The surrounding walls () are provided with first and second pressing surfaces () to be pressed by ejector pins ().

Insulating plate, insulating plate manufacturing method and terminal block

A wire fixing member () to be fixed to an unillustrated case housing a device by fixing a shield shell () to the case includes a housing () to be held in the shield shell (), wires (W) pulled out through the housing (), a housing projection () located at a part of the housing () where the wires W are pulled out and formed to project along the wires (W), and an adhesive tape (T) for integrally fixing the wires (W) and the housing projection () by covering both the wires (W) and the housing projection () and adhering to the wires (W) and the housing projection ().

Wire fixing member

A terminal block () is for connecting terminals (T) connected to enameled wires extending from a motor and busbars (B) extending from an inverter and includes a plurality of nuts () arranged in a width direction and configured to fasten the terminals (T) and the busbars (B) together with bolts (BT), guides () are provided between adjacent nuts () and configured to guide bolt fastening portions (T) of the terminals (T) to the upper surfaces of the nuts by coming into contact with lateral edge parts of the terminals (T), and posture correcting portions () provided at positions where the terminals (T) are pulled out backward from the nuts and configured to correct postures of barrel portions (T) of the terminals (T) in the width direction by contacting the barrels (T) in the width direction.

Terminal block

A terminal block () connects terminals (T) at ends of wires extending from a motor and busbars (B) extending from an inverter and includes nuts () on which the terminals (T) and the busbars (B) are placed and which fasten the terminals (T) and the busbars (B) together with bolts (BT). A bracket () is arranged below the nuts (), and a resin portion () integrally fixes the nuts () and the bracket (). The bracket () includes a mounting portion () exposed from the resin portion () and is fixed to a metal motor case. An embedded portion () is embedded in the resin portion (). The resin portion () includes first locks () for locking screw grooves (A) of screw holes () on the mounting portion () from below, and a second lock () for locking an engaging portionon the embedded portion () from below.

A shield connector () includes a connector housing () with resiliently deformably provided resilient locking pieces (), a collective shield shell () formed with collective side engaging portions () engageable with the resilient locking pieces (), and an individual core shield shell () formed with individual-core side engaging portions () engageable with the resilient locking pieces (). Either one of the collective and individual core shield shells () is selectively fixed to the connector housing () by engaging the resilient locking pieces () and the collective side engaging portions () when the collective shield shell () is mounted onto the connector housing () or engaging the resilient locking pieces () and the individual-core side engaging portions () when the individual core shield shell () is mounted onto the connector housing ().

Shield connector

A terminal block () to be fixed to a motor case (C) which houses a motor body and includes a coolant flow path (C) and adapted to fasten busbars by tightening bolts includes nuts () for tightening the bolts, and a heat sink () made of aluminum die-cast and held in close contact with the nuts () via an insulation plate () behind the nuts (). The heat sink () includes a heat radiating portion () which comes into contact with cooling water passing in the coolant flow path (C) of the motor case (C).

Terminal block with integral heat sink and motor provided therewith

A rotary electric machine terminal block fits into an opening of a case that contains a rotary electric machine, and is fixed to the case by a plate. The rotary electric machine terminal block has: a mount that is formed by fixing the electric power line connector and the signal line connector to the steel-made plate and performing insert molding so that an anti-vibration plate is formed on an upper surface of the plate; projected portions of the plate which each have a fixture hole for fixing the plate to the case; an edge seal member that covers an edge of the projected portion; a face seal member for tight attachment of the mount to the case; and two positioning pins.

Terminal block for rotary electric machine

A terminal block () fastens conductors by placing the conductors one above another and fastening bolts and includes a plurality of nuts () on which the conductors are to be placed and partition walls () partitioning between adjacent nuts (). Each partition wall () includes an insulation wall () provided in an insulation plate () arranged below the nuts () and a molded resin portion () covering the upper surface of the insulation wall () and the side surface of the insulation wall (). Exposed portions (A), which are exposed upper end parts of a projecting portion () provided on the insulation wall (), are provided on the upper end surface of the molded resin portion ().

Terminal block and method of molding it

A terminal block has conductors extending from devices placed one over another placed on nuts () and fastened by a bolt. A heat sink () is arranged below the nuts and an insulating plate () is sandwiched in close contact with the nuts () and the heat sink (). A molded resin part () covers these three members (and). The insulating plate () includes nut accommodating portions () capable of accommodating the nuts () and bolt escaping recesses () projecting downward from a bottom plate () of the insulating plate (). The heat sink () includes accommodation recesses () into which the bolt escaping recesses () fit. The molded resin part () is molded with the nuts () accommodated in the nut accommodating portions () and the accommodation recesses () and the bolt escaping recesses () fit to each other.

Terminal block and terminal block manufacturing method

A terminal block has nuts (), each with a step () slightly recessed and formed at an outer peripheral part of an upper fastening surface (A) on which conductors are to be placed. A heat sink () is arranged below the nuts () and an insulating plate () is sandwiched between the nuts () and the heat sink (). Resin () is molded around these three kinds of members (). The steps () are pressed by resin cut-off parts () provided in a first mold () for the resin (). Restricted surfaces (A) at outer peripheral sides of press surfaces (B) to be pressed by the resin cut-off parts () on the steps () are covered by the molded resin ().

Terminal block and method of manufacturing it

A connector is provided with terminals () to be connected with terminals () of a mating connector () by bolting and a nut accommodating portion () for accommodating nuts () for bolting. An entrance (A) enabling the insertion and withdrawal of the nuts () is formed at a connection surface side of the nut accommodating portion () with the mating connector. A nut cover () for preventing the nuts () from coming out through the entrance (A) is detachably attachable to the nut accommodating portion () and includes inverted insertion preventing portions () for permitting a connection with the mating connector () when the mating connector () is in a proper orientation while coming into contact with the mating connector () to prevent the connection when the mating connector () is not in the proper orientation.
