The system establishes a gateway connection between a cloud-based host server, the third-party service, and the kiosk. When a user wishes to use the third-party service to print a document requested through the kiosk, the host server obtains the security certificate and installs the certificate in the kiosk. The kiosk may then request the document from the third-party service which forwards the document upon authentication of the security certificate details registered in the kiosk.

The SCEP thus has a medium in the network device manager through which the SCEP features can be communicated to the end devices. In an exemplary embodiment, aspects of the system may for example, automatically check expiration of and renew certificates that are expiring.
