A vehicle control system is a system configured to appropriately perform driver assistance such as automatic driving of a vehicle, while reducing risks considering blind spot areas formed by obstacles. In particular, the vehicle control system is configured to set a virtual risk integrated with latent risks generated individually in order to prevent an abrupt change in speed or the like of the own vehicle. Further, even when other risks are generated on a side different from a side on which the blind spot areas are located, the vehicle control system is configured to set the virtual risk having a smaller value than a maximum value of the latent risks to reduce an influence of the virtual risk.

Driver assistance apparatus, vehicle, recording medium storing computer program, and driver assistance method

A driving assistance device reflects, in autonomous driving control on a vehicle, a driving characteristic of a driver who drives the vehicle learned during manual driving of the vehicle. The driving assistance device includes a storage that stores information on an individual risk potential set for the vehicle by learning a risk sensed by the driver for each of one or more obstacles during the manual driving, a vehicle risk calculator that sets, for the vehicle, a vehicle risk map that reflects the individual risk potential of an occupant of the vehicle during autonomous driving of the vehicle, and a driving condition setter that sets a driving condition for the autonomous driving of the vehicle based on information on the vehicle risk map and information on an obstacle risk map that reflects an obstacle risk potential set for the each of the one or more obstacles.

A misfire determination apparatus includes first to third obtaining units, a calculator, and a determination unit. The first obtaining unit is configured to obtain actual engine rotation number of an engine. The engine is coupled, via a torsion element, to side of an axle coupled to an electric motor in a torque transmittable manner. The second obtaining unit is configured to obtain motor rotation number of the electric motor. The calculator is configured to calculate calculated engine rotation number of the engine on the basis of the motor rotation number and a total gear ratio between the electric motor and the engine. The third obtaining unit is configured to obtain a rotation deviation between the actual and the calculated engine rotation numbers. The determination unit is configured to execute misfire determination of the engine by determining the engine as being misfiring when the rotation deviation exceeds a determination threshold.

Misfire determination apparatus

A leakage detection device detects leakage in a PCV passage that at least includes a scavenging line that communicates between a crank chamber of an engine and a portion of an intake passage of the engine that is on a downstream side of a throttle valve and a fresh air line that communicates between the crank chamber and a portion of the intake passage that is on an upstream side of the throttle valve. The leakage detection device includes a pressure measurement, a first valve and a leakage determination unit. The pressure measurement unit measures pressure in the PCV passage. The first valve opens/closes the fresh air line. The leakage determination unit determines presence or absence of leakage in the PCV passage on a basis of the pressure in the PCV passage at a time when the first valve is closed.

Leakage detection device

A leakage detection device for detecting leakage in a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) passage having at least a scavenging line and a fresh air line includes: a first pressure measurement unit that measures a pressure in the PCV passage; a leakage detection valve that opens and closes the fresh air line; a PCV valve that adjusts a flow rate of blow-by gas; a second pressure measurement unit that measures a pressure in the intake passage; a first valve controller that controls the leakage detection valve when a leakage diagnostic condition is satisfied; a second valve control unit that reduces an opening degree of the PCV valve, and suppresses a flow rate in the PCV passage based on the pressure in the intake manifold after the leakage detection valve is closed; and a leakage determination unit that determines whether leakage occurs based on the pressure in the PCV passage.

A control apparatus includes a waste gate valve that opens and closes a passage bypassing a turbine in an exhaust passage of an engine, an air bypass valve that opens and closes a passage bypassing a compressor in an intake passage of the engine, a pressure measuring unit that measures a pressure at a downstream side of the compressor, an air-amount measuring unit that measures an amount of air flowing into the intake passage, an air-bypass-valve controller that opens the air bypass valve when a throttle valve in the intake passage is closed, a closed-state-malfunction diagnosing unit that diagnoses a closed-state malfunction of the air bypass valve based on a fluctuation in the measured amount of air when the throttle valve is closed, and a waste-gate-valve controller that closes the waste gate valve if the measured pressure is lower than a predetermined pressure when the throttle valve is closed.

A cylinder-to-cylinder variation abnormality detecting device including a rotational fluctuation detecting module that detects a rotational fluctuation among cylinders of a multi-cylinder engine; a rotational fluctuation type abnormality determining module that determines whether a cylinder-to-cylinder variation abnormality is occurring, from the rotational fluctuation; an air-fuel ratio detecting module that detects an air-fuel ratio; an air-fuel ratio fluctuation type abnormality determining module that determines whether the abnormality is occurring, from a fluctuation in the air-fuel ratio; a frequency component type abnormality determining module that detects whether the abnormality is occurring, from a particular frequency component corresponding to one engine combustion cycle; and a cylinder-to-cylinder variation abnormality determination finalizing module that finalizes a determination of the abnormality, if the rotational fluctuation type determining module determines the abnormality and the air-fuel ratio fluctuation type abnormality determining module determines no abnormality.
