A support member-attached wire harness includes a wire harness including an electrical wire and a support member that includes a fitting portion formed in a partially cylindrical shape that is opened partially in a circumferential direction so as to be capable of being fitted to an outer peripheral portion of a bar-shaped member. On at least one of the wire harness and the support member, a support portion for supporting the wire harness disposed along an outer periphery of the fitting portion at a fixed position with respect to the fitting portion is formed.

An object of the present invention is to reduce the constraints on the mounting of a wire protecting protector to a wire, while achieving a reduction in the weight of the wire protecting protector. A wire protecting protector is made of a foamed resin and is formed in a shape having a wire housing recess capable of housing a wire, and a surface of the wire protecting protector that includes an inner circumferential surface on the wire housing recess side is a surface formed through molding. Preferably, a reinforcing film is formed on at least a part of the surface of the wire protecting protector.

The band portion includes a hinge portion, one end of which is connected to the dish portion, and a band main body portion formed with a narrow belt shape so as to extend from the other end of the hinge portion. A wiring harness wiring structure is for wiring a wiring harness between a body and a door of a vehicle, and configured to suppress the trapping of water in the door. The wiring harness wiring structure includes a wiring unit partly supported on the body and including the wiring harness, and a protector including an insertion opening into which the wiring unit is to be inserted, an extra length absorbing portion for accommodating the wiring harness while including a margin space, into which the wiring harness is detoured, and a water drainage hole formed in a lower part of the extra length absorbing portion and arranged at a position vertically above and overlapping a through hole formed in a door inner panel and penetrating from a vehicle inner side to a vehicle outer side between a door trim of the door and the door inner panel.

An edge protector includes a tubular main body capable of being inserted into a through-hole in an insertion direction and including an installation hole enabling the wire harness to be installed, and an engagement structural part flaring from an outer circumference of the main body and capable of engaging in a through direction with an opening edge of the through-hole. The installation hole includes a small space formed in a shape following the outer circumference of the wire harness and capable of positioning the wire harness within a specific range with respect to the through-hole in a radial direction relative to a center axis, and a large space provided to a portion including a rear end in the insertion direction, the large space including an interior space expanding further than the small space toward an outer periphery on at least one side of the small space in a circumferential direction.

Harness protector and wire harness routing structural part

A wire harness protector includes a resin plate. A plurality of excavated portions are recessed into a panel surface of the plate, the excavated portions having a circular shape in plan view and being aligned at intervals in an X axis direction and a Y axis direction orthogonal to the X axis direction. The excavated portions are arrayed in the X axis direction in a straight line shape along the X axis direction and are arrayed in the Y axis direction in a zigzag shape, shifting a phase so as to be positioned between excavated portions neighboring each other in the X axis direction. The excavated portions neighboring each other in the Y axis direction are further arrayed so as to have portions mutually overlapping in the Y axis direction.

Wire harness protector

A wire harness routing structural part reduces the number of components for routing a wire harness within a door. The wire harness routing structural part includes a wire harness incorporating a main path wire and a different path wire, a portion of the wire harness being fixated to a body, and a protector placed on an interior of the door. The protector includes an accommodation part and a different path guide portion, the accommodation part having an extraction opening for extracting the wire harness to the interior of the door and accommodating the wire harness with a space enabling the wire harness to be redirected. The different path guide part guides the different path wire of the wire harness extracted through the extraction opening on a path different from that of the main path wire of the wire harness and following an outer surface of the accommodation part.

Wire harness routing structural part

A grommet includes two semicircular closing plate sections that protrude from inner peripheries of a larger diameter end of an enlarging diameter tubular section provided with a vehicle body latch recess. Two half ring sections protrude from peripheral edges of central circular cut-outs at opposed ends of the semicircular closing plate sections. Adhesive tape is wound around the half ring sections. The semicircular closing plate sections are thinner than the enlarging diameter tubular section and have bellows-like configurations with projections and depressions. The half ring sections deform in accordance with an outer diameter of the wire harness and a bending direction of the wire harness. Deformation of the semicircular closing plate sections is absorbed by the bellows-like configurations, and the vehicle body latch recess of the enlarging diameter tubular section coupled to an outer periphery of the semicircular closing plate sections.

Grommet

In an arranging structure of a wire harness for a door, the wire harness is spanned between a door of a motor vehicle and a vehicle body at an indoor side inside of a weather strip. The wire harness is drawn out from a space between a door inner panel and a door trim at the door side and is provided with an excess length portion that follows opening and closing operations of the door. The excess length portion is drawn out from the space when the door is opened. The excess length portion is drawn along an arcuate outer periphery of a speaker disposed in the space to be contained in the space when the door is closed.

Arranging structure of wire harness for door

A grommet includes a small tubular section, an enlarging tubular section continued from an end of the smaller tubular section, and an annular recess on an outer surface at a large diameter end of the enlarging tubular section. The small tubular section is inserted into a through-hole from one side of a vehicle body panel so that the annular recess engages the vehicle body panel. Stepped projections extend axially from the small tubular section to the annular recess . Each stepped projection has an angle rib that protrudes from a connecting end of the small tubular section to a position where the angle rib contacts a peripheral edge around the through-hole. Slopes of the angle ribs at upper positions contact a peripheral edge around the through-hole at a position where the slopes at the upper positions do not pass the annular recess.

In an arrangement structure for a door wire harness, the door wire harness is arranged in a door of a vehicle body and is spanned in a space between the door and the vehicle body inside a vehicle room beyond a weather strip. The door wire harness is drawn out of a space between a door inner panel and a door trim at a door side and is fixed on the door at a wire harness drawing-out position. A door side fixing position of the door wire harness is shifted from a vehicle body side fixing position of the door wire harness in a vertical direction. A spanning section of the door wire harness between the door side fixing position and the vehicle body side fixing position is sheathed by a grommet having a flexible bellows-like tube portion and made of rubber or resin. The spanning section of the door wire harness is bent in an S-shaped configuration in a space between opposed surfaces of the door and the vehicle body when the door is closed. The door wire harness is changed from the S-shaped configuration to a straight line configuration when the door is opened.
