A precombustion chamber gas engine includes a main-chamber forming portion forming a main combustion chamber, and a precombustion-chamber forming portion forming a precombustion chamber communicating with the main combustion chamber via a plurality of nozzle holes. The precombustion-chamber forming portion includes a cylindrical portion extending along an extension direction of a precombustion chamber central axis of the precombustion-chamber forming portion, and a tip portion closing a main-combustion-chamber-side end of the cylindrical portion and having the nozzle holes. The tip portion includes a thin region having a thickness T satisfying T&#x3c;L where L is a length of each nozzle hole.

A turbine housing includes an outer housing portion which includes an inner wall internally forming a spiral space, a first heat shield core which separates the spiral space into a scroll flow passage where an exhaust gas flows and a heat shield space positioned on a side of the inner wall, the first heat shield core being disposed so as to face the inner wall in the spiral space, a variable nozzle unit for adjusting a flow of the exhaust gas from the scroll flow passage toward an impeller, the variable nozzle unit being disposed on a side opposite to the outer housing portion across the first heat shield core in an axial direction, and at least one annular seal portion disposed between the first heat shield core and the outer housing portion in the axial direction.

A turbocharger includes: a turbine wheel; a turbine housing; a bearing housing; a shroud having a facing surface which faces a tip of a blade of the turbine wheel and being configured to surround the turbine wheel, the shroud comprising a separate member from the turbine housing and being disposed inside the turbine housing via a gap with respect to the turbine housing; a mount supported to at least one of the turbine housing or the bearing housing, at a position closer to the bearing housing than a scroll flow path in an axial direction of the turbine wheel; and at least one connection part connecting the mount and the shroud.

Sealing structure for turbocharger housing

A compressor includes: an impeller including a hub and a plurality of blades disposed on an outer surface of the hub; and a housing which houses the impeller. The housing includes: a shroud section facing the outer surface of the hub to form a fluid flow path between the shroud section and the outer surface, and surrounding the impeller; and a casing section formed integrally with the shroud section and supporting the shroud section. The shroud section includes a first resin-based material having a static tensile strength of at least 65 MPa and no more than 200 MPa and a breaking strain of no more than 0.3 mm/mm at a temperature of 100&#xb0; C. The casing section includes a second resin-based material having a static tensile strength of at least 40 MPa and a breaking strain of at least 0.1 mm/mm at a temperature of 100&#xb0; C.

Compressor

Provided is a turbine housing that comprises: a scroll unit; a flat annular cover () that is disposed in a state where one end face abuts a flanged portion () of the scroll unit and that is welded to the flanged portion (); an annular seal portion () that extends from a basal end () welded to the inner circumferential side of the other end face of the annular cover () to the distal end () disposed further to the exterior than the basal end () in the radial direction and that comprises a member that can be elastically deformed; and a plurality of threaded bushings () that are each welded in a plurality of locations on the outer circumferential side of the other end face of the annular cover () and that have fastening holes () for fastening bolts () inserted along the direction of the axis of rotation. A sealing region that extends around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation is formed by elastically deforming the annular seal portion () by the distal end () being in contact with the outer circumferential face () of a bearing housing () by way of the bearing housing () being pressed toward the annular cover () via a seat face of a washer ().

Turbine housing

An object is to provide a sheet-metal turbine housing reinforced by a readily-manufacturable structure, the sheet-metal turbine housing also having a small thickness and improved containment performance. A sheet-metal turbine housing includes: a scroll part forming an exhaust gas channel of a scroll shape in a turbocharger for driving a turbine with exhaust gas of an engine, the scroll part comprising sheet metal; and at least one rib portion of a protrusion shape formed on an outer wall surface of the scroll part at a radially outer side of an inlet edge of a turbine blade along a circumferential direction of the scroll part, the at least one rib portion protruding either outward or inward, or both, and including a bend and bend-back structure formed on the sheet metal forming the scroll part.
