Reference regions are set in a radiation image, which serves as a reference among a plurality of radiation images, and template regions are set in the other radiation images. An orthogonal coordinate system is defined on each of the plurality of the radiation images. First template matching is carried out in order to match the template regions to the reference regions. Factors of affine transformation are calculated, and first affine transformation is carried out, with which at least the correction with a rotating operation and the correction with an enlargement or reduction factor are carried out on the radiation images containing the template regions. Second template matching is then carried out on the radiation images, which have been obtained from the first affine transformation. The factors of affine transformation are calculated, and second affine transformation is then carried out, with which the correction with the rotating operation, the correction with the enlargement or reduction factor, and the correction with a parallel translation are carried out on the radiation images containing the template regions.

Method for adjusting positions of radiation images

Disclosed herein is a radiation image information processing system basically comprising a plurality of image reading devices, a plurality of image recording devices and CRT displays which are respectively connected to the image reading devices, and a plurality of IDTs serving as registering means to which ID information of objects and other information are inputted. Further, the radiation image information processing system is characterized in that respective ones of the registering means, which are electrically connected to one another, are electrically connected to corresponding ones of the plurality of image reading devices, and other registering means are electrically connected to the respective ones of the registering means electrically connected to the corresponding ones of the plurality of image reading devices, the respective ones of the registering means electrically connected to the corresponding ones of the plurality of image reading devices having information control functions capable of storing therein information inputted to either the respective ones of the registering means or other registering means referred to above electrically connected thereto and of reading the so-stored information therefrom as needed.

Radiation image information processing system

An optical memory disk has a recording layer which is disposed on one surface of a plain circular support base and has a plurality of radially spaced data tracks for storing data items therein, the data tracks being grouped into a number of data track groups. Each of the tracks is divided into a plurality of angularly consecutive sectors bearing a plurality of angularly equally spaced sector marks, respectively, the sector marks on the tracks of each of the data track groups being located in angularly different positions, respectively. There are also disclosed a method of and a system for rapidly and reliably accessing a desired target track among the data tracks on the optical memory disk.

A method for enhancing the sharpness of a color image includes the steps of generating three color separation signals and selecting one of the color separation signals to be a sharp signal; generating an unsharp signal from a color image and then multiplying the difference between the sharp signal and the unsharp signal by three multiplier coefficients to form three sharpness-enhancement signals. The resultant signals are added to the corresponding color separation signals to form sharpness enhanced color separation signals representing a sharpness enhanced color image.
