Rectangular wire, and method of producing the same and electrical equipment using the same

A rectangular wire having: a multilayer conductor member constructed by stacking, in a thickness direction, a rectangular metallic conductor that has a layer of a thermosetting resin formed on the outer periphery thereof, the thermosetting resin having a glass transition temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or more and 200&#xb0; C. or less and having a urethane bond; and a layer of a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 300&#xb0; C. or more on the outer periphery of the multilayer conductor member.

A rectangular insulated wire includes a rectangular conductor having a generally rectangular cross section and a plurality of baked-coating resin layers disposed to cover the rectangular conductor. Each of the plurality of baked-coating resin layers is formed of at least one resin selected from a group comprising a polyester-based resin including a trihydric or tetrahydric alcohol constituent, a polyester imide resin, a polyamide-imide resin and a polyimide resin. An adhesion strength between the plurality of baked-coating resin layers is greater than or equal to 5 g/mm and less than or equal to 10 g/mm.

An inverter surge-resistant insulated wire has a baked enamel layer(s) around the outer periphery of a conductor having a rectangular cross-section, an extrusion-coated resin layer(s) around the outer side thereof, and an adhesive layer having a thickness of 2-20 &#x3bc;m between the baked enamel layer and the extrusion-coated resin layer. A cross-sectional shape of the baked enamel layer and the extrusion-coated resin layer in the cross-section of the wire is rectangular. In the cross-sectional shape formed by the baked enamel layer and the extrusion-coated resin layer surrounding the conductor in a cross-sectional view, at least a pair of two sides of two pairs of two sides opposing at the upper side and the downside or at the right side and the left side with respect to the conductor meet the conditions that a total thickness of the baked enamel layer and the extrusion-coated resin layer is 80 &#x3bc;m or more.

Inverter surge-resistant insulated wire and method of producing the same

An inverter surge-resistant insulated wire, having an enamel baked layer, an adhesive layer, and an extrusion-coated resin layer, around the outer periphery of a conductor, wherein the sum of the thickness of the enamel baked layer, the extrusion-coated resin layer, and the adhesive layer is 60 &#x3bc;m or more, wherein the thickness of the enamel baked layer is 50 &#x3bc;m or less, and wherein the extrusion-coated resin layer is formed from a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition, which contains a polyphenylene sulfide polymer having a melt viscosity at 300&#xb0; C. of 100 Pa&#xb7;s or more, 2 to 8 mass % of a thermoplastic elastomer, and an antioxidant, and which has a tensile modulus of elasticity at 25&#xb0; C. of 2,500 MPa or more, and a tensile modulus of elasticity at 250&#xb0; C. of 10 MPa or more.

Insulated wire

A multilayer insulated wire, comprising: a conductor; and at least three extruded insulation layers covering the conductor, which extruded insulation layers comprise: (A) an outermost layer composed of an extruded covering layer of a resin whose elongation rate after heat treatment by immersion in a solder at 150&#xb0; C. for two seconds is at least 290% and at least equal to elongation rate before the heat treatment; (B) an innermost layer comprising a resin whose elongation rate after heat treatment by immersion in a solder at 150&#xb0; C. for two seconds is at least 290% and at least equal to elongation rate before the heat treatment; and (C) an insulation layer that is placed between the outermost layer and the innermost layer and that is composed of an extruded covering layer of a crystalline resin with a melting point of at least 280&#xb0; C. or an amorphous resin with a glass transition temperature of at least 200&#xb0; C.; and a transformer having the multilayer insulated wire.
