Only a limited number of coils is therefore used for the braking, the other coils continuing to supply the electronic regulating circuit.

The invention relates to a brushless direct-current motor (), comprising a stator (), a rotor cup () that revolves around the stator () and has a plurality of permanent-magnet poles (N, S), and a detent torque plate () that is connected to the stator () and has several pole shoes () for generating a detent torque that brings the revolving rotor cup () into a detent position. The pole shoes () are each arranged in the detent position between two adjacent poles (N, S) of the revolving rotor cup () to form a magnetic short circuit. The drive method consists in setting in vibration a moving mass of a vibrating device for a portable object using a series of voltage pulses provided to the coil of the vibrating device, which is electro-magnetically coupled to the moving mass. In a phase of driving the oscillations of the moving mass after a start phase of the vibrating device, followed by a resonant frequency measurement phase, successive rectangular voltage pulses of alternating polarity are provided to the coil by a drive circuit. The width of the successive pulses is modulated in a substantially similar manner during each successive oscillation period which allows a substantially sinusoidal voltage wave (S) of determined amplitude to be defined whose fundamental frequency is adapted to the resonant frequency of the moving mass. By modifying the oscillation period, it is thus possible to act on the amplitude of the moving mass oscillations which depends on the sinusoidal wave amplitude defined by the rectangular pulse width modulation.

The motor (1) includes three stator parts (11, 12, 13) and two coaxial rotors (2, 3) each including a multipolar magnet having axial magnetization (4, 5) arranged between the third (13) and the first (11) respectively the second stator poles (12). The latter each comprises two stator poles (15, 16, 22, 23) having a plurality of teeth (19, 20, 26, 27) staggered with respect to one another. In the rest positions of the rotors (2, 3) the magnetic dipoles (6) of their magnets (4, 5) are phase-shifted with respect to the respective teeth (19, 20, 26, 27). Two coils (51, 52) are each coupled to a stator pole (15, 22), a third coil (53) is coupled to the other two stator poles (16, 23). As result of this arrangement, the motor (1) is compact and its rotors (2, 3) are able to rotate in both directions independently of each other.

The two-phase electromechanical transducer (2) comprises a stator (4) formed by a planar structure (12) and two cores (14, 16) respectively carrying two coils (18, 20). An electromecanic transducer comprises a stator 4 formed of three parts 6, 8 and 18 each presenting merlons or teeth 52, 54 and 60 superposed to a multipolar magnet 34 of rotor 30. A multipolar motor with two rotors includes two coaxial axially magnetised rotors (3, 5) arranged on either side of an intermediate stator part (17). First (13) and second (15) stator parts, each having a stator opening (19, 20), are respectively arranged on either side of the rotors. The first and second stator parts each have two polar expansions (13a, 13b, 15a, 15b) defining the stator opening. Each of these polar expansions is connected to the intermediate stator part (17) by a major electric circuit passing through the core (30) of a winding (33a, 33c).

The present invention concerns an electromechanical transducer exhibiting a configuration of the cylindrical type and adapted in particular to serve as a stepping motor. In a three-phase embodiment, the transducer according to the invention comprises a stator (2) and a rotor (4) capable of turning around a rotation axis (6). The stator (2) comprises three pole pieces (8, 10, 12) each having a polar arm (14, 16, 18) oriented in the direction of the rotation axis of the rotor and bearing an energization winding (32, 34, 36).

Cylindrical electrochemical transducer

An electromechanical transducer (1), in particular a motor used in timepieces, having a stator (2) and two rotors (14 and 15). The two rotors (14 and 15) are situated respectively in two stator holes (4 and 6) each defined by three stator poles (8a, 10a, 12a; 8b, 10b, 12b). The transducer (1) is capable of functioning as a stepping motor, each of the two rotors being capable of rotating in the two possible rotational directions independently of the other rotor.

The present invention concerns a polyphase electromagnetic transducer, the rotor (4) of which has a multipolar permanent magnet (10) including an even number of magnetic pole pairs (14) oriented along the direction of the rotation axis of such motor (4). First and second principal stator parts (22 and 24) extend respectively from either side of a rotor plane defined by the multipolar permanent magnet (10). The first principal stator part (22) defines at least three principal magnetic poles (30, 31 and 32) and secondary magnetic poles (38), these latter being defined by teeth (40) superposed onto the multipolar permanent magnet (10).

A reversible two-phase electromechanical transducer comprises a stator (2) extending primarily over three levels and a rotor (38) including a multipolar permanent magnet (48) located between first and second principal stator parts (4, 8). The first stator part defines a stator hole and first and second principal magnetic poles (80, 82) magnetically coupled to secondary magnetic poles formed by the castellations (70) of a circular gapped crown located on the edge of the stator hole. The second principal stator portion defines at least one third principal magnetic pole (90), such second principal stator portion being magnetically coupled to each of the first and second principal magnetic poles by means of respective first and second magnetic flux guidance legs (12, 13), each bearing an energization winding (28, 29).

This n-phased electromagnetic motor having two rotation senses and in which n is greater than 1, is particularly intended to drive the mechanism of a timepiece movement. It comprises n magnetic circuits, each being magnetically decoupled from n-1 other magnetic circuits. Each magnetic circuit includes two stator poles (4a and 4c, 4b and 4d) each comprising a polar expansion (6a to 6d respectively) partially defining a stator cavity (3) in which a rotor (2) is housed. These two stator poles are diametrally opposite one another relative to the axis (X--X) of the rotor (2). The magnetic separation of the magnetic circuits is assured by means of one or several gap(s) (15) judiciously arranged.
