The method includes: determining a scrambling code sequence based on a configuration parameter of a transmission reception point TRP, where different TRPs correspond to different configuration parameters; and scrambling or descrambling data by using the scrambling code sequence. This application is used for data transmission, resolves a problem in a related technology that system performance is relatively poor because user equipment cannot better obtain, from received data, data sent by a TRP, and improves system performance.

The method includes: generating an uplink signal, where the uplink signal carries information for identifying multiple codewords and weights of the codewords; and transmitting the uplink signal to a base station (BS), so that the base station estimates a downlink channel based on the multiple codewords and weight information of the codewords in the uplink signal. In the embodiments of the present application, a user equipment UE side reports multiple codewords and weight information of the multiple codewords. This can resolve a problem in the prior art that precision of downlink channel estimation performed by a BS side is relatively low because only a single codeword is reported, and can effectively enhance precision indicated by channel information, without increasing complexity of a codebook design and implementation.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a precoding information obtaining method and a device. The method includes: separately precoding, by a network device by using N sub-codebooks, a pilot group including K pilots to obtain N precoded pilot groups, where the sub-codebooks are subsets of a precoding codebook, the precoding codebook includes M precoding vectors, each sub-codebook includes K precoding vectors; sending, by the network device, a precoded pilot group to a terminal device in each of W RB groups; and receiving, by the network device, precoding information fed back by the terminal device for any one of W precoded pilot groups. According to the precoding information obtaining method and the device, a quantity of pilot signals sent by the network device in each RB group is reduced, and pilot overheads in each RB group are reduced.
