A DC-DC converter and a method for estimating output current of a DC-DC converter are provided. The method includes measuring, by a controller, input voltage and output voltage of the DC-DC converter and measuring output voltage of a current transformer (CT) included in the DC-DC converter. In addition, the method includes compensating, by the controller, for the output voltage based on the relationship between the measured output voltage and CT output voltage and compensating for the input voltage by measuring the input current of the DC-DC converter based on the output current of the DC-DC converter into the CT output voltage converted through the current transformer and using an output current map composed of the output voltage and the measured CT voltage. In addition, the output current is estimated using the compensated output voltage and input voltage.

System and method for estimating output current of DC-DC converter

An inverter control apparatus is provided that offers a 'soft turn off' to a gate operation of the inverter so as to securely protect the IGBT. In particular, an inverter control system according to the present invention may include a gate operating portion that controls turn on/off of an IGBT and forcibly turns off the IGBT if a short circuit or an over current is detected from the IGBT, a current buffer that amplifies a control current for the turn on/off of the IGBT that is outputted from the gate operating portion, and a filter that delays the forcible turn off control current that is outputted from the gate operating portion.

A film capacitor is provided that includes a case in which a film cell is incorporated and a heat radiating plate including a heat absorption unit being positioned adjacent to the film cell while not being in contact with the film cell for absorbing heat and a heat radiating unit being exposed to the outside of the case. Preferred film capacitors can perform a stable operation and have durable lifespan, even when an inverter adopting the film capacitor is mounted on a trunk room and an engine room, by effectively cooling heat generated from a film cell of the film capacitor.
