A battery module is disclosed. In one aspect, the battery module includes first through third battery packs electrically connected to one another. The battery module also includes a bus pattern. The bus pattern includes i) a main body including an input/output point of a charging/discharging path and ii) first through third branching portions that branch from the main body and extend to first through third contact points of the first through third battery packs, respectively. A first distance is defined as the distance between the input/output point and the first contact point, a second distance is defined as the distance between the input/output point and the second contact point and a third distance is defined as the distance between the input/output point and the third contact point. The first distance is less than the second distance, and the second distance is less than the third distance.

Battery module

A battery pack includes a battery cell including an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator that are wrapped, a case that receives the electrode assembly, a cap assembly including a cap up located on an upper part of the case and coupled to the case to be electrically connected to the electrode assembly, a first connection member electrically connected to the cap up of the battery cell, a joining portion on one area of an outer surface of the case, and a second connection member electrically connected to the joining portion at the one area of the outer surface of the case.

Battery pack having adjacent battery cells connected without welding

A battery pack is disclosed. The battery pack includes a battery holder, a lead terminal, a bus bar, and a pack case. The battery holder includes a cell holder accommodating a plurality of battery cells and a flange extending outwardly from the cell holder. The lead terminal includes a lead plate and a lead tab, the lead plate covering electrodes of the battery cells, and the lead tab extending from the lead plate toward the flange. The bus bar is configured to form an electrical path between the lead tab and an external terminal. The pack case includes a coupler, and the external terminal is formed on the pack case. A fastener is inserted into the bus bar, the lead tab, and the flange, and the fastener is engages with the coupler.

Battery pack

A battery module includes a bus bar; and a plurality of battery packs electrically connected to each other by the bus bar and arranged in front and rear directions, wherein each of the plurality of battery packs comprises a front polarity display part and a rear polarity display part that display polarities of terminals in front and rear positions of the terminals, wherein the front polarity display part and the rear polarity display part are formed to have different heights.

Provided is a battery module including a bus bar and a plurality of battery packs electrically connected to each other by the bus bar, wherein each of the battery packs includes a case in which a first guide for guiding an assembly position of the bus bar is formed, and the first guide extends in a first direction around a terminal. According to one or more embodiments, there is provided a battery module including a guide for guiding an assembly position of a bus bar in a structure of binding together a plurality of battery packs using the bus bar, thereby facilitating binding the battery packs together and preventing faulty binding.
