A light emitting display panel includes a first emission area, a second emission area, and a third emission area spaced apart from each other and emitting different colors of light and a photochromic layer surrounding each of the first, second, and third emission areas and disposed in a non-emission area. When the first emission area, the second emission area, and the third emission area emit light, the photochromic layer is in a transparent state. When light of a wavelength band shorter than visible light is incident on the photochromic layer, the photochromic layer is in an opaque state.

Light emitting display panel and light emitting display device including the same

A display device includes an encapsulation layer disposed to cover a plurality of organic light-emitting elements arranged in a display area of a substrate, and a mesh-shaped touch electrode disposed on the encapsulation layer. In this connection, a light control layer is disposed on the touch electrode. The light control layer includes a plurality of prism patterns arranged to correspond respectively to a plurality of openings of the touch electrode, and a plurality of reflective partition walls respectively surrounding the plurality of prism patterns. Accordingly, a viewing angle of the display device is controlled and a front-directional luminance thereof is improved.

A polarizing plate and a display device including the same of the present disclosure absorb and disperse an external impact by laminating thin films having different strengths. As described above, according to the present disclosure, instead of a thick cover window, a thin film is used so that thin thickness, light weight, and low cost of the polarizing plate may be achieved. Further, the manufacturing process is simplified and the processing cost is reduced.

A display device according to the present disclosure may be provided with a light path conversion protrusion on a lower surface of a cover window to suppress external light even for light incident at a side viewing angle, thereby improving contrast and visibility.
