A pixel of a display device may pre-charge a light emitting element in non-emission periods immediately before emission periods by varying a voltage level of an initialization voltage. As a result, a luminance non-uniformity phenomenon that may occur as the result of a deterioration deviation of the light emitting element may be removed or reduced.

Pixel and display device including the same

A pixel including: a light emitting element; a first transistor connected between a first node and a second node, and to generate a driving current to flow from a first power line to a second power line through the light emitting element; a second transistor connected between a data line and the first node; a third transistor connected between the second node and a third node corresponding to a gate electrode of the first transistor; a fourth transistor connected between the third node and a third power line; a fifth transistor connected between the first power line and the first node; a sixth transistor connected between the second node and a fourth node corresponding to a first electrode of the light emitting element; a seventh transistor connected between the fourth node and a fourth power line; and an eighth transistor connected between the fourth node and a fifth power line.

A display device may include a substrate. A first light emitting element is disposed on the substrate. A second light emitting element is disposed on the substrate and is positioned adjacent to the first light emitting element. A first encapsulation layer is disposed on the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element. A light path control layer is disposed on the first encapsulation layer. The light path control layer includes a first pattern overlapping the first light emitting element and having a first refractive index and a second pattern overlapping the second light emitting element and having a second refractive index that is greater than the first refractive index.

Display device

A display apparatus includes a substrate; a lower conductive layer including a protective pattern and an auxiliary conductive pattern on the substrate; a buffer layer on the lower conductive layer; an active pattern on the buffer layer and overlapping the protective pattern; a first insulation layer on the active pattern; and a first conductive layer on the first insulation layer, the first conductive layer including a gate electrode overlapping the active pattern and a load matching line overlapping the auxiliary conductive pattern.

Display apparatus

An organic light emitting display device includes scan lines arranged in horizontal lines, data lines intersecting the scan lines, a pixel array including pixels coupled to the scan lines and the data lines, the pixels including at least first color pixels, a panel tester including switching elements coupled to first ends of the data lines, the switching elements including at least first and second switching elements, and a first line coupled to the first switching elements and a second line coupled to the second switching elements. Data lines of K-th to (K+L)-th (where K and L are natural numbers) first color pixels arranged in a predetermined horizontal line are coupled to the first line through the first switching elements, and data lines of at least a part of remaining first color pixels arranged in the predetermined horizontal line are coupled to the second line through the second switching elements.

Organic light emitting display device and method of testing the same

A display device includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a first transistor that controls an amount of current received from a first power supply voltage line connected via a second node to an organic light emitting diode in response to a voltage of a first node, a second transistor connected between a data line and the second node and that includes a first gate electrode connected to a first scan line, a light emitting line connected to a gate electrode of at least one light emitting transistor located in a current path between the first power supply voltage line and the organic light emitting diode, and a seventh transistor connected between one of at least one second gate electrode of the second transistor and the light emitting line. Accordingly, a threshold voltage of a switching transistor included in each of the plurality of pixels may be negatively shifted.

An optical measurement device includes an optical sensor which measures an optical waveform of a reference object or a measurement object, a learner which receives a first optical waveform of the reference object from the optical sensor and learns frequency characteristics of the first optical waveform, a filter generator which analyzes the frequency characteristics of the first optical waveform and generates a frequency filter, a frequency modeling unit which receives a second optical waveform of the measurement object from the optical sensor and models frequency characteristics of the second optical waveform, and an optical characteristic detector which calculates an optical characteristic index of the second optical waveform based on an output value of the frequency modeling unit and the frequency filter.

Optical measurement device

An organic light emitting display device may include a first active pattern disposed on a substrate and including a first region, a second region, and a third region; a first gate electrode disposed on the first active pattern and forming a first transistor together with the first region and the second region; a second gate electrode disposed on the first active pattern and forming a second transistor together with the second region and the third region; a third gate electrode disposed on the first gate electrode, overlapping the second region, and forming a storage capacitor together with the first gate electrode; a metal pattern disposed between the first active pattern and the third gate electrode and overlapping the second region; and an organic light emitting diode electrically connected to the first transistor, the second transistor, and the storage capacitor.

Organic light emitting display device

A pixel includes a light emitting device, a first transistor for controlling an amount of current flowing from a first power source to a second power source via the light emitting device, in response to a voltage applied to a first node, a second transistor coupled between a data line and a second node corresponding to a first electrode of the first transistor, and including a gate electrode coupled to a first scan line, a third transistor coupled between the first node and a third node corresponding to a second electrode of the first transistor, and including a gate electrode coupled to the first scan line, and a fourth transistor coupled between the third transistor and the third node, and configured to maintain a turn-on state.

Pixel and display device having the same

A display device includes a pixel, a first control pad, a second control pad, and a first dummy pad. The pixel may emit light with luminance corresponding to a data signal. Supply of the data signal to the pixel depends on a first control signal and a second control signal. The first control pad is connected to a first control line for supplying the first control signal. The second control pad is connected to a second control line for supplying the second control signal. The first dummy pad is positioned between the first control pad and the second control pad and may receive a first dummy signal. A voltage level of the first dummy signal is in a range from a voltage level of the first control signal to a voltage level of the second control signal.

A wiring-disconnection detecting circuit includes a low-power voltage supply, a monitoring wiring, and a wiring-disconnection determiner. The low-power voltage supply supplies a low-power voltage to a low-power voltage wiring that extends along a periphery of a display panel in a normal operating mode of the display panel and supplies a test voltage to the low-power voltage wiring in a wiring-disconnection detecting mode of the display panel. The monitoring wiring includes a first end connected to one point of the low-power voltage wiring and a second end at which a feedback voltage corresponding to the test voltage is output in the wiring-disconnection detecting mode. The wiring-disconnection determiner receives the feedback voltage from the second end, measures an RC delay of the feedback voltage, and determines that the low-power voltage wiring is disconnected when the RC delay is larger than a predetermined reference value.

Wiring-disconnection detecting circuit and organic light emitting display device including the same

An inspection system for a display cell having a display part and a plurality of data lines connected to first and second pixel units of the display part. An array test part and a lighting test part are located in a peripheral area around the display part. An inspection apparatus is configured to provide the array test part with an array control signal to block an array data signal from being applied to a plurality of data lines in a period in which a white image is displayed and to provide the lighting test part with a lighting control signal to block a lighting data signal from being applied to a plurality of data lines during a period in which a black image is displayed, during a drive reliability test mode for displaying a test image including the black image and the white image.
