A battery pack including a plurality of battery cells, each battery cell having a positive electrode and a negative electrode on a top surface of the battery cell, the battery cells being arranged in a first direction and in a second direction crossing the first direction; a protective circuit module, the protective circuit module including a printed circuit board on the battery cells, and a plurality of conductive tabs on the printed circuit board and electrically connecting the battery cells; and a case accommodating the battery cells and the protective circuit module, wherein each of the conductive tabs include a substrate connector connected to the printed circuit board, a cell connector electrically connected to a battery cell, and a fusible link extending from the substrate connector and having a width that is smaller than that of the substrate connector.

A battery pack includes at least one battery cell; a protective circuit module mounted on a first surface of a battery cell of the at least one battery cell; and a top case covering a first end of the battery cell where the protective circuit module is mounted, and the protective circuit module includes a broad width area and a narrow width area, and an opening is formed on the top case corresponding to the broad width area of the protective circuit module.

Disclosed is a battery pack including: a plurality of serially connected cells; a protection circuit module electrically connected with the plurality of cells; and a plurality of lead tabs configured to electrically connect the plurality of cells to the protection circuit module, in which the protection circuit module includes a plurality of connection portions, which is arranged in a row and connected with the plurality of lead tabs, respectively, and the plurality of lead tabs overlaps in an order in which the plurality of connection portions is arranged, so that an assembling process time is decreased.

Battery pack and method of manufacturing the same

A battery pack includes one or more battery cells including at one side electrode tabs of different polarities, the electrode tabs distanced from each other in a first direction and each protruding in a second direction transverse to the first direction; and a protective circuit module connected to the one side of the one or more battery cells to control charging/discharging of the one or more battery cells, and the protective circuit module is arranged to be superposed on the one or more battery cells.
