A mask assembly and method for manufacturing of the same are provided. A mask assembly includes: a mask frame including a first mask opening and a second mask opening which are located side by side in a first direction and defined by a support bar; a first split mask overlapping the first mask opening; and a second split mask overlapping the second mask opening, and the first split mask and the second split mask are spaced apart from each other in a region overlapping the support bar.

A mask inspection method and a mask inspection apparatus for inspecting a deposition mask are provided. A mask inspection method includes: providing a deposition mask including a plurality of first openings and a plurality of second openings, each of the first openings having a shape in a plan view different from that of each of the second openings; designating a first group and a second group, each including at least one of the first openings and at least one of the second openings; comparing an image of the first group with an image of the second group; and determining whether the first group and the second group are defective, an arrangement of the first and second openings of the first group being the same as an arrangement of the first and second openings of the second group.

Mask inspection apparatus and method for inspecting a mask having first and second openings

A display device is provided. The display device includes a display region which includes a first display region and a second display region, where the first display region includes a plurality of first pixels, and the second display region includes a plurality of second pixels and at least one light transmission region, where the light transmission region has light transmittance that is higher than light transmittance of the first pixel and light transmittance of the second pixel, and the second display region has light transmittance that is higher than light transmittance of the first display region.

A mask has both ends supported on a frame while tensile force is applied in a first direction. The mask includes: a mask main body having a band shape which is extended in the first direction; a plurality of active patterns spaced apart in the first direction from each other in the mask main body and having a first shape; a plurality of first ribs surrounding borders of the plurality of respective active patterns and defining a shape of the active pattern; and a plurality of first dummy patterns surrounding the plurality of first ribs, respectively, and having a second shape.
