A cooking apparatus includes a heater mounting unit that mounts a heater on a reflecting plate in a simple manner and allows an internal construction of the cooking apparatus to be simple. The cooking apparatus also includes a cabinet, at least one heater mounted in the cabinet, a grill unit positioned on a top of the cabinet to allow food to be cooked while being laid thereon, at least one reflecting plate mounted behind the heater to reflect heat radiated toward a position behind the heater, and at least one elastic mounting unit to mount the heater on the reflecting plate through an elastic deformation thereof. Accordingly, an efficiency of production of the cooking apparatus may be improved, and the cooking apparatus may have a simple internal construction.

Cooking apparatus

A cooking apparatus includes a body, a pair of heating units, a grill unit, a heat reflecting unit, and a cooling fan. The heating units are arranged between the grill unit and the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit includes inner and outer reflecting plates that are inclined at certain angles to reflect heat radiated from the heating units toward the grill unit. The cooling fan is positioned in an inner space of the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit has front, rear, and side plates, which are provided with a plurality of through holes, so that air passes through the inner space of the heat reflecting unit.

A cooking apparatus capable of uniformly heating and cooking food laid on a grill unit using thermal energy radiated from a heating unit, includes a cabinet opened at a top surface thereof to provide an opening over which the food to be cooked is laid. A grill unit is seated in the opening of the cabinet so as to support the food over the opening. A heating unit is installed in the cabinet at a position offset from an effective grill part of the grill unit so that a front surface of the heating unit faces the grill unit to transmit thermal energy to the grill unit supporting the food laid thereon. The cooking apparatus also includes a heat blocking member to block a part of the thermal energy transmitted to an edge of the grill unit, thus allowing the thermal energy to be uniformly transmitted to the food laid on the grill unit. Thus, the cooking apparatus of the present invention allows food laid close to the edge and food laid on a central portion of the grill unit to be uniformly heated and cooked.

A cooking apparatus, which is provided with a cover having an air ventilation structure that ventilates air into and out of a cooking space to maintain a desirable temperature of the cooking space. Accordingly, the cooking apparatus has at least one heating unit, a grill unit, such that food laid thereon is cooked by heat from the heating unit, and the cover, covering the food, defining a cooking space thereunder, and having the air ventilation structure to ventilate air into and out of the cooking space during cooking. Food and oil are prevented from being burned, so that carcinogenic substances and smoke are not generated, and convenience of use is increased.

A cooking apparatus which allows an interior of a cabinet thereof to be easily cleaned. The cooking apparatus includes a cabinet. The cabinet has an opening in a top surface defining a heating space. A heating unit to heat food is installed in the heating space and heat is transmitted from the heating unit to the food. A grill unit is seated on the top surface of the cabinet to support the food over the opening. A contamination preventing unit is installed in the heating space to prevent an inside surface of the cabinet from being contaminated with material dropping from the food. The cooking apparatus of the present invention guides splashed material back to a tray when the material collides with the tray splashes. The contamination preventing unit may be removed from the heating space, enabling a user to easily clean the contamination preventing unit.

A cooking apparatus having a body, one or more heating units, a grill unit, and a heat reflecting unit. The heating units are arranged between the grill unit and the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit has front and rear plates, side plates, and a pair of inner reflecting plates and a pair of outer reflecting plates. The inner reflecting plates are upwardly projected to be higher than the outer reflecting plates. The front plate includes an upper surface and inner and outer surfaces, and is provided in the upper surface thereof with a water inlet, and in the inner surface thereof with an overflow hole. The front plate has a water level window to ascertain a level of water. The front plate is positioned outside the body so that oil and sauce are prevented from entering the inner space of the heat reflecting unit through the water inlet.

A rack for a microwave oven capable of appropriately cooking food without burning the food, and a microwave oven set equipped with the rack includes a rack section to support the food thereon, and support sections to support the rack section. The rack section includes a plurality of hollow tubes and a hollow net tube. A liquid may be received in the hollow tubes and the hollow net tube. Accordingly, food is cooked without being burnt even when cooking is performed in a microwave oven using heat radiated from a heater.

A grill unit and a cooking apparatus having the grill unit, the grill unit including a plurality of grill pipes; water tanks connected to ends of the grill pipes to supply water into the grill pipes; covers to selectively open and close upper portions of the water tanks; and guide members respectively extending from inner surfaces of the covers toward insides of the water tanks to guide condensed water formed on the inner surfaces of the covers into the water tanks. The grill unit prevents water condensed on inner surfaces of the covers of the water tanks of the grill unit from flowing out of the water tanks.

A cooking apparatus includes a body provided in a top thereof with an opening, at least one heating unit arranged on both sides of the body, a grill unit mounted on a top of the body, and a heat reflecting unit arranged toward the heating units below the opening of the body. The grill unit includes a plurality of grill pipes that are filled with water, arranged to be regularly spaced apart from each other and configured to form the effective grill portion. The heating unit includes a pair of heating units arranged on both sides of the body toward the opening of the body. The heating unit is arranged to be inclined at an angle ranging from 30&#xb0; to 90&#xb0; (preferably, about 70&#xb0;) with respect to the effective grill portion of the grill unit. The heating unit is a ceramic heater.

A microwave oven having a magnetron that generates microwaves, a magnetron driving circuit that supplies high voltage power to the magnetron and a machine room that accommodates the magnetron and the magnetron driving circuit. The microwave oven includes a single magnetron driving circuit board in which the magnetron and the electronic devices of the magnetron driving circuit are mounted thereon. The single magnetron driving circuit board is fixedly attached to the machine room by mounting members.

A grilling apparatus is provided with a grill of an improved structure, thus preventing food from being burnt due to overheating of the grill and reducing a cooking period to cook the food. The grilling apparatus includes a cabinet defining an external appearance of the grilling apparatus. An opening is formed at a top of the cabinet. A grill comprises a plurality of pipes, is set in the cabinet through the opening of the cabinet, and is downwardly bent, at a portion thereof, to form a food supporting part supporting opposite side surfaces of the food. The grilling apparatus includes two water tanks which are connected to respective ends of the plurality of pipes to supply the water to the plurality of pipes. One or more heating units are provided at predetermined positions adjacent to respective sides of the food supporting part in the cabinet so as to irradiate heat to the food supporting part.

A cooking apparatus includes a body, a heating unit, a heat reflecting unit and a food support unit. The heating units are disposed between the food support unit and the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit includes first and second inner and outer reflecting plates to reflect heat generated by the heating unit toward the food support unit. The first and second inner and outer reflecting plates are arranged to form, roughly, a W shape so that first and second recesses are formed by the first and second inner and outer reflecting plates to collect oil. The food support unit includes a pair of water tanks seated on a top of the body while being spaced apart from each other and filled with water, and a plurality of grill pipes arranged to connect the water tanks so that the grill pipes are filled with water.

A microwave oven includes a tray holding unit which stably holds both a cooking tray and a tray guide at their original positions regardless of vibration and impact applied to the cooking tray and/or tray guide. The tray holding unit includes a base part, and elastic blade parts which are formed on both sides of a lower surface of the base part and extend downward from the lower surface while being inclined outward at an angle of inclination. A stop rail is horizontally formed along an inner surface of left and right sidewalls of a cooking cavity of the microwave oven, so as to stop top edges of the base part and allows the blade parts to press down on the cooking tray. Accordingly, the cooking tray and the tray guide are stably held down by the tray holding unit.

A grill unit having a plurality of grill pipes, each grill pipe having two ends; water tanks connected to both ends of the grill pipes to supply water to the grill pipes; and soundproofing covers positioned around both ends of the grill pipes that are inserted into the water tanks. The grill unit allows water contained in grill pipes to continuously flow in any one direction, and prevents the generation of noise caused by water vapor discharged from the grill pipes to the water tanks.
