Disclosed is an X-ray detector having impact resistance and an X-ray imaging apparatus having the X-ray detector. The X-ray imaging apparatus comprises an X-ray source for generating and irradiating X-rays and an X-ray detector for detecting the X-rays irradiated from the X-ray source. The X-ray detector comprises a main body having a bottom plate including a joining groove, a detector panel arranged inside the main body for converting X-rays irradiated from the X-ray source into electric signals, and a middle block arranged inside the main body to support the detector panel. The middle block has a boss configured to protrude toward the bottom plate of the main body. The boss is inserted into the joining groove. A buffer member is arranged in at least part of the joining groove to prevent the boss from coming into contact with the joining groove.

X-ray detector and X-ray imaging apparatus having the same

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a first actuator in which an X-ray source unit is provided in a main body may be rotatable independently from a second actuator in which an X-ray detecting unit is provided. A mammography apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first actuator in which an X-ray generating unit is provided; a second actuator in which an X-ray detecting unit is provided; a rotary arm to which the first actuator and the second actuator are rotatably connected; a first drive source connected to the rotary arm and configured to deliver a driving force to the first actuator; and a second drive source connected to the rotary arm and configured to deliver a driving force to the second actuator, wherein the first actuator is rotatable due to the driving force delivered from the first drive source and the second actuator is rotatable due to the driving force delivered from the second drive source.

Mammography apparatus

Provided is a mammography apparatus that prevents a main body from falling due to damage to a coupling connecting a ball screw, to which the main body is connected, and a motor. The mammography apparatus includes: a main body having an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector; a ball screw to which the main body is connected so as to be movable up and down; a motor rotating the ball screw so as to allow the main body to move up and down; a coupling connecting a drive shaft of the motor and the ball screw; and a brake provided at one side of the coupling. When the coupling is ruptured, the brake prevents ruptured coupling portions from being separately rotated in order to prevent a fall of the main body.

An X-ray imaging apparatus having an improved structure to reduce noise generated when a position of an X-ray generator is fixed in position includes an X-ray generator, an X-ray detector, a moving carriage coupled with one end of the X-ray generator, a guide rail, and a holding unit disposed at an inner side of the moving carriage to hold the position of the X-ray generator, wherein the holding unit includes a contact pad to contact the guide rail to hold the moving carriage, a magnetic body to move the contact pad using magnetic force, and a holding plate coupled to the contact pad to move according to operation of the magnetic body and including a buffer material capable of absorbing noise or vibration.
